The wage should be enough to allow unskilled workers to share an apartment in a modest area, and take a bus to work.

There are plenty of 2-bedroom apartments in a cheaper area of my county that rent for $1600 a month or so. That means $800 each share. A minimum wage of $15/hr should be tight but doable.

They'll eliminate entry level jobs and replace them with kiosks and self serve checkouts. You can see it happening now at any Walmart or McDonald's you walk into. I think it depends on the State, Admiral. If memory serves me there are three or four States that require employees to also pay into the fund. All of the rest do not.
