It's an interesting series, but when it comes to russian history, it's impossible for them to avoid mistakes.
For example, as of 1929, there were no military ranks of “general” or “colonel” in the OGPU and the Red Army. There were no “Trotskyist” partisan detachments hiding in the forests, and the Soviet embassy in Berlin was not guarded by Red Army soldiers with rifles.

A clip from The Big Sleep. What is interesting was the comment section, where we were all talking about Dorothy Malone and not the main actors. It says something about her talent as an actor, and yes, her looks.
