Just watched Network on TCM.

Been a few years...What a wild flick.

Just watched Sphere, the Michael Crichton Sci-Fi thriller last night. It features Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, and Samuel L. Jackson. It's highly watchable and tense at times, but the ending is somewhat vague and kind of leaves you hanging. I'd rate it a solid B.

Desert Hearts, in small increments. It has lots of tender human moments. No car chases or sword fights.

bombed at the box office in 1983 but worth the watch. Its not a movie for everyone but interesting story and top class actors makes it a fine movie.

Most of the National Lampoon's Vacation movies, in chronological order. What I remember of the first doesn't seem worth watching again. I watched them all with TV editing, commercial breaks, and censorship decades ago. I plan to finish Christmas Vacation sometime this winter.

I don't watch TV or movies much these days....although I did recently watch the 1972 movie Frogs with my wife and son on Christmas Day. Neither had seen it before. I've always loved the campy ridiculousness of it! On Thanksgiving I watched Time Bandits with them. My son loved it but my wife fell asleep.

The last movie we saw in a theater was the Roberto Clemente biography. That was early last Fall.

Aside from the "Knives Out" franchise, nothing in the past couple of decades or more has been any good.
Mostly all crap. Mostly all "reboot" shit nobody is interested in.

And what few movies I have been interested in have been heinously fucked over with Woke-ism, BAD actor choices, or horrible story writing.

I'm always on the lookout for something that sounds or looks good. But so far, it's all been "meh".

Last night I was in a Roger Moore mood, so I watched me his first James Bond movie. Good shit, Maynard!!!!!

I watched ODD THOMAS today.
I had forgotten I had seen this movie before.
I had also forgotten what a great movie it is.

A different kind of romantic fantasy movie.

Too bad Anton isn't with us anymore. He was a great talent.

Pre-code Hollywood 1930s. Myrna Loy. She does a bath scene in the nude. This is before censors were a big influence. Interesting story .Film quality has aged but it is a good story.

Lost Horizon. A restored almost lost masterpiece. Good to know there are people who work to save these works of film art. A young Jane Wyatt , my goodness she was a beauty. I would have never left her behind.
