I'm not entirely sure that Brendan Fraser was the best choice to play Ike, but the director is solid and the supporting cast looks decent, so I will definitely want to watch this one.

I have always thought Brendan was a very very good actor. Much better than Tom Selleck. The only thing that might make Sellecks' performance a wee bit better is he probably looks more like Ike.

Too bad Patton and Eisenhower hadn't flipped their command positions. I believe Patton later said that we "fought the wrong enemy" (likely paraphrased). How right he was.
