What is the legality of Trump's National Guard actions?

Immigration law says if you want to live here you have to have a skill or a job waiting for you so you don't become a drain on the treasury... you can't have a criminal record and you must pass a physical to see if you have a contagion...
That is due process for the American people.... but those rules are often ignored... but not anymore I would bet...

There is no welfare in the US except ADC and disability, so immigrants can't become "a drain on the treasury".

But you are forgetting that when the US imposes illegal economic sanctions, like we do on Cuba, Venezuela, Syria, etc., that we force those people to become political refugees and cannot then deny them asylum.

Worthless scum is not written on the Statue of Liberty, Those who came back then just wanted to work for a fair wage.
They did not come for a free Education, Welfare, SNAP, handouts of any kind. They did not come to make our country just like the countries they were allegedly fleeing.

You get free education, welfare, food stamps, handouts, etc., in Europe, but not the US.
The only programs available in the US are ADC and disability.

The countries they are fleeing were destroyed by the US arming and training dictators, not by the natives.

I have only lived in 5 cities, but none of the Home Depots in any of the cities had any residential areas within 2 blocks.

I have never heard of any harm, like tools being stolen, pissing on the parking lot, etc., because the others wanting employment would rat on them.
Of course you never heard of it because the media is corrupt.... My friends grandson works there... I heard all about it... and my local Home Depot is not in the dessert miles away from people... you are really reaching now...

So you were supposedly a hotshot lawyer living in a neighborhood with “them”,

Sure ya evil bitch
It's California they are everywhere. Even gated cities have rich cartels. The verm8n are like rata.

They are coming from socialist nations like Venezuela... just stop man... unbelievable....
And if you went there and overstayed your visa you would be nabbed off the street by masked men and thrown in jail until a judge has time to hear your case...

Never suggested Home Depot was "in the desert".
They are always in large and crowded shopping districts that have no housing.

They are not... I can throw a rock and hit a residential street from the parking lot of my local HD.... how can you assume you know every HD... anyway its been fun but you have lost this debate over and over again... so I bid you goodbye....

Venezuela was destroyed by the illegal US economic sanctions.
They have tons of oil they can't sell because of the US sanctions.
The 1906 Geneva Conventions we ratified prohibit economic sanctions, but we do it anyway because we can.

And no, most countries do not care that much about visas except the US.

There are 3 Home Depots in ABQ where I live now, and you can't see a residential area from anywhere in the parking lots.
I used to live in Portland and Houston, with the same.
They are always putting Home Depot in large intersections where you would never want housing.

Seems likely federal judges would side with Trump?
Seems to me Trump caused the problem by having ICE illegal arrest and deport people harming no one, and now is deploying troops to suppress the animosity that ICE deserves.
How is that not a dictatorship?

You need a review of the Supremacy Clause.

Wrong.
The supremacy clause only applies if both federal and state both have equal jurisdiction.
In most areas, that is not the case.
The Constitution mostly divides jurisdiction between the states and federal.
The Constitution gave the feds jurisdiction over becoming a citizen, but states were supposed to have jurisdiction over who to allow to work there.

The first immigration law was in 1882, and illegally tried to deport all the Chinese workers who had finished the Transcontinental Railway.
