Additionally, use of prosecutorial discretion allowed non-criminal, long-standing undocumented residents and DACA recipients to mostly avoid removal.

The huge majority of those deported have their case heard by a DHS or ICE officer, who then decides if they go or not.
No lawyer, no court, no judge, no appeal.
