I don't think it's crossed his mind that the sewage plants at Bait Lahiya, Gaza and Rafah are not situated on high ground. The Gaza sewage plant was designed and built by Americans so that puts his "stupid" wet dream fantasy into the garbage where it belongs. There is no shortage of concrete to build with in Gaza. Israel believes Hamas has rebuilt nearly all of the 32 tunnels that were destroyed at the end of Operation Protective Edge in 2014. That's somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.5 million tons of concrete. How many houses, schools, hospitals, water treatment plants and bomb shelters would that have built?

What is lacking is not concrete -- its the will to build homes instead of terror. What we should be asking is not what would happen if Israel stopped trying to play nice -- but what would happen if the Palestinians -- especially in Gaza -- started playing nice.
