We’ve had 52 years of failed home rule in our Nation’s Capital. This city has been run into the ground by Democrats just like we see in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, San Francisco, and Los Angeles; to name a few. Those cities are not the Nation’s Capital. Washington DC is the Nation’s Capital and needs to be held in higher standards.Once again, Trumpers SPITTING on the Constitution! Congress and NOT the President, rules D.C.
I worked at a VDOC prison on West Ox Road in the early 70s. It's gone now but it was right next to the VDOT shop still there. Other than the Super 29 drive-in and Hunters Lodge there was nothing there but the dump.I have lived all over Fairfax and Loudon county.
When I was a kid, Loudon county was the STICKS. JUST FARMS.
NOW IT IS LIKE THE WOKIST COUNTY IN THE NATION.
NOT PROGRESS AT ALL.
Thats last year. This is this year. Now he can do anything he wants. He can recommend and use his bullying all that he wants, but it takes our Congress, for him to take action like that in DC. according to our Constitution.
What if pigs could fly?
If the crime rate goes down to zero, the mad leftists will attack Trump for taking democracy away. What if ending home rule of DC, actually works quickly to make DC a nicer place to live and/or visit?
Kind of a strong message, if home rule by dems, just doesn't work. That they need to be taken care of by others.

Trump renews threats to take over Washington, D.C., but his legal authority is limited. Here's what he can do.
After an attempted carjacking involving a government staffer, Trump renewed his push to take federal control of D.C. — but he'd need Congress to make it happen.www.cbsnews.com

But then you also have ghettos where the “residents” have lived for generations, completely dependent on welfare, and pumping out babies starting in their mid-teens.DC is basically a tourist town with visiting politicians. Many full year residents are temps who GTFO after a few years.
Farms and other labor intensive businesses. We will need all the babies we can get as the birthrate continues falling. But then you also have ghettos where the “residents” have lived for generations, completely dependent on welfare, and pumping out babies starting in their mid-teens.
Who gets stuck with all those people?
That doesn’t help us if the babies take up welfare for 17 years, and then THEIR babies take up welfare for another 17.Farms and other labor intensive businesses. We will need all the babies we can get as the birthrate continues falling.
The transition back to work could be as difficult as the transition out of work. With the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs, entire generations across most of the USA lived with the expectation of working for much less than a living wage, if they can get any jobs at all. Rebuilding pride in workmanship and an expectation of fair pay could take a while. That doesn’t help us if the babies take up welfare for 17 years, and then THEIR babies take up welfare for another 17.
We need self-sufficient people.
