What happens when your leader is a prolific liar

What damage can a few harmless fibs do? It’s just his nature.
If a President wants support for bringing his country to war, he must have credibility.
When he describes an imminent threat, people must believe that threat to send their sons and daughters to war

No one is bringing anyone to war...Regardless of what your buddies at CNN say.

Trump is bragging about 52 sites in Iran that he is going to attack. Don’t know what that will lead to.

He is just showing how much of a hypocrite you are. Obama couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it and you worshipped him.

Did the White House crackerjacks forget that six of Trump's top deputies have been convicted of federal crimes, including his top campaign official, first national security adviser, close friend and confidant, and longtime personal lawyer and fixer?

Did they forget his current personal lawyer is under federal investigation?

Did they forget Trump just became the third U.S. president in history to be impeached and by the biggest vote margin ever—that's how devastating the evidence was?

Did they forget that lies spout from Trump's lips like a city fire hydrant loosed in the blistering summer heat?

In fact, when times are tough and the politics are dicey, you can absolutely count on Trump to lie

(see: health care policy, personal taxes, hush money payments, Russian collusion, Russian interference, Putin convos, firing Mueller, North Korea denuclearization, Mexico border wall funding, Hurricane paths, tariffs/trade wars, Puerto Rico relief, the Bidens, and Ukraine, just to name a few). If Trump says it, it's inherently suspicious, and that includes his repeated claims that he would put America first and get out of "endless war."

Trump doesn't get the benefit of the doubt on leading us into war. Voters know he's a serial liar

What's worse than giving billions of dollars to your enemy...Obama did just that. Please admit he was an asshole.

except paying off iran was a lie. you still wanna peddle it?

Don't believe him, read for yourself, from your own trusted sources...

"On Jan. 17, 2016, the day after four American detainees, including The Washington Post’s Jason Rezaian, were released, a jumbo jet carrying $400 million in euros, Swiss francs and other currencies landed in Tehran. That money purportedly was partial payment of an outstanding claim by Iran for U.S. military equipment that was never delivered. Soon after, $1.3 billion in cash followed.

The cash transaction was controversial even within the administration. The Wall Street Journal reported that the head of the Justice Department’s national-security division objected that it would look like a ransom payment."

State Dept. confirms $400 million Iran payment conditioned on prisoner release

"An initial $400 million of euros, Swiss francs and other foreign currency was delivered on pallets Jan. 17, the same day Tehran agreed to release four American prisoners."

$1.7-billion payment to Iran was all in cash due to effectiveness of sanctions, White House says

Still want to continue your lies?

Trump blusters alot when sabre rattling...Remember when y'all thought Nuclear war was imminent with NK because Trump was blustering? Did that happen? NO....Neither will your predictions of war in Iran either.

I'm going to utterly ignore your attempt to deflect to Obama using the using biased and unreliable sources. The USA is facing a crisis which Trump created and could lead to war. I realize the Russian posters like you are creaming your jeans at the suggestion, but the rest of the world isn't that easily fooled.

Trump has lied his way into this mess and now he's counting on Americans believing the nation is under threat. The only threat facing the USA is the Presidency of Donald J. Trump. No one believes him because we have no reason to believe him.

Furthermore, your NATO allies have told Trump that if he starts a war over this, the USA is on it's own this time. There was a peace treaty with Iraq and Trump tore it up, even though Iran was in compliance. This will hasten Trump's impeachment, and deservedly so.

I'm sure that people in the Pentagon and D.C. have learned by now that you can't just make shit up as an excuse for your actions. At some point the facts are going to come out and you're going to be held accountable.

Okay, I'm just kidding. I don't think we've learned that at all.

Just wanted to toss that one out there for fun.

I thought Obama stopped Iran's nuclear program. Or was that another Obama lie?

Obama and our allies (you know allies, countries that will actually work with us) got Iran to abandon their nuclear program. This agreement stabilized the region and gave Iran a path to work with us

Trump destroyed the agreement and reinstated crippling sanctions. That led to the instability and aggression we are seeing today.

Nice deflection but as you know, we released Iran’s own funds.

Obama and our allies negotiated a draw down of aggression with Iran

Trump destroyed that and promised a better deal. Looks like that deal is war

Your link:

"This source said the argument for targeting Soleimani, rather than Iranian assets, centers around the idea that it was a preemptive move intended to de-escalate the situation by deterring any plans to attack American embassies or bases.

"The reasoning behind this, the same source told CNN, is that if Iran were to fire on a US base or embassy, it would trigger a large scale military response by the US, so by killing Soleimani, the hope was that it would cause the Iranians to change their behavior."

Seems like something of a long shot at any time.

What impact on next November's election will oil prices have on US voters?

US-Iran tensions threaten the world’s most important oil-shipping route
Nice link

Says such attacks are possible but no information that they are imminent like Trump claimed.
But given the escalating tensions due to Trumps attack, they seem more likely

Wrong, asshole:

Israelis: Soleimani Intercept Sparked Drone Strike; US Reinforces Region

TEL AVIV: Five days ago, an undisclosed intelligence agency intercepted a telephone call made by the head of Iran’s Quds Force, Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, in which he was heard ordering his proxies in Iraq to attack the U.S embassy in Baghdad, as well as other Israeli and American targets, with the aim of taking hostages, Israeli sources say.

After years of lies from Obama you Dem's don't have no credibility.
Obama had credibility around the world.
When he asked for our allies to support us, they did

Trump is alone

The agreement was trash....It didn't even have verification provisions that would be effective. And if it was all that you say it is then it should have been ratified as a treaty, but they didn't do that because they knew it was trash and wouldn't have been approved.
