Rolling the dice is an apt description of what Don did. Unilaterally. Unless you count the discussions he had with Bebe. A fellow war monger with everything to gain and not much to lose from this war from a political standpoint. In that regard they're two peas in a pod.

It's also looking like he's being influenced by MBS, which is not exactly a shock.

Put that together with the fact that massive trades were placed on oil futures right before Trump made his "big announcement" the other day, and it's becoming clear: This latest taste of manic, ever-changing chaos isn't about national security, it's a string of business dealings.

Also, arms control experts at home, according to the RS report, believe that “the duo appeared to have fatally misunderstood a series of basic technical and historical matters” regarding Iran’s nuclear program leading to inaccurate information conveyed to the President.

I heard it reported yesterday that Iran is now refusing to deal with Prince Jared and Steve. It's not hard to understand why. From the standpoint of any expertise they brought to the table they had no business being part of the negotiations in the first place.

The problem with this metaphor is that Trump rolled the dice not realizing the dice were loaded.

Trump was convinced by Bibi and people in his cabinet that protests about prices in Iran meant that the Iranian people really wanted to overthrow the Ayatollahs and put the Son of the Shah back into power. This was obviously not the case, and we've probably killed hundreds of thousands of people for nothing. (And probably wrecked our own economy in the process.)

Absolutely every indication I've seen from watching overseas commentary is that the entire world knows what has happened here, and they know we are led and represented by fools. Our adversaries can see it, as well as our former friends.

They don't fully understand WHY, but they really don't care any more.
