What happens now that a Convicted Felon has won the presidency?

that is not correct. The sentencing has been delayed, and the defense gets to file a motion to get the charges dropped. Until that motion is filed and acted up, we dont know if the charges will be dropped.

Racial Disparities - Wrongful Conviction Rate

The criminal justice system disproportionately affects communities of color. Innocence...
Indeed, a 2022 report from the registry found that innocent Black people were seven times more likely to be wrongly convicted of murder than innocent white people. The racial disproportionality in wrongful conviction cases reflects persistent biases in the criminal legal system.

...so no one is above the Law?
Correct.
1. Smith was illegally appointed, Taylor Swift has more legal authority
2. As for the Bragg/Merchan 34-felonies, that "Lawfare" would be overturned on appeal, if Merchan wasn't a hack, hoping the USSC takes the appeal on Constitutional grounds:

"Below is my column in the Hill on the most compelling grounds for an appeal in the Trump case after his conviction on 34 counts in Manhattan."

Black males are ~6% of the population yet commit almost 50% of the murders according to FBI data.
Juries evaluate the evidence and believe in their verdict "beyond a reasonable doubt".
I could play with the numbers to to change that 7x to any number I wanted by varying the populations.
Bottom line is that blacks commit a disproportionate number of murders, that is a fact by almost 10x.

Ken Starr as special counsel to investigate Clinton was fine, but special counsel to investigate Trump is unconstitutional - according to the GOP and its appointed judicial hacks.

on the other subject of using business records fraud to commit another crime, it was a jury decision that still stands.

1. Ken Starr was appointed legally, Jack Smith was not. See the difference?

Was Jack Smith's appointment unconstitutional? He has no more authority than Taylor Swift, amicus brief argues

2. The jury was given illegal instructions, as well as the "crime" itself not being a crime. Read the Legal facts, and expect the convictions to be overturned on appeal:
"The conviction of former President Donald Trump in Manhattan of 34 felonies produced citywide celebrations. This thrill-kill environment extended to the media, where former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman told MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace that it was “majestic day” and “a day to celebrate.” When I left the courthouse after watching the verdict come in, I was floored by the celebrations outside by both the public and some of the media. The celebrants would be wise to think twice before mounting this trophy kill on the political wall. The Trump trial is a target-rich environment for an appeal, with multiple layers of reversible error, in my view."

He cannot pardon himself, because the charges are state charges. It is very, very unlikely that the NY Governor will pardon him. His sentencing could be delayed or reduced, but jail is still a possibility. In the trump way of doing things, he will delay, appeal, and deny...hoping that the charges disappear. And they certainly may, but MAGA must be proud of their Felon in Chief.
The Jury has spoken - AMericans showed in the November 2024 election - that President Trump is only a convict in the Socialist Demon Rats' imagination.

Second, the paperwork violation in question came well after Trump’s 2016 election, so it couldn’t have been done to help his election.

Exactly.
