Renée Good Told to Get Out of the Vehicle​

Multiple eyewitness accounts and released video show that during the January 7, 2026 encounter in Minneapolis, ICE agent Jonathan Ross and another officer gave conflicting orders to Renée Nicole Good.

According to Caitlin Callenson, a witness who spoke to Minnesota Public Radio, one agent told Good to drive away while another told her to get out of the vehicle factually.co. This contradiction has been repeated in multiple local and national reports factually.co+1.

A 47‑second cellphone video from Ross’ perspective, released by Alpha News and later by the Department of Homeland Security, shows the moment. I saw this article the other day and made a comment in the comments section of the article that she had indeed driven her car at the officer, actually hiting the guy. Now, you can argue about how hard she hit him and what his injuries were but you can't argue that she didn't drive toward him and at least graze him in the process. Maybe she was just trying to get away and wasn't purposely trying to hit him but she did drive toward him and struck him.
