What female musicians do you admire ?

What 2 instruments do each of them play ?

I'm not sure if Streisand ever played any instruments, I'd have to check, she is primarily known for her voice. Bley was a compositionalist who played a number of instruments, she is known more for that than her voice, the one most coming to mind was the piano. Sadly, she just passed away about a year ago I think. And Kate Pierson was front lady for the B-52s, again, a fabulous vocalist best known for her electric moog keyboards and piano.

Joni Mitchell and Bonnie Raitt, for starters.
There are others. I'll think on it some more ...

I play both the fiddle/violin and the mandolin. They are almost the same instrument. Same tuning, same finger patterns. But Allison Krauss is a fine musician - a bit overrated, but good nonetheless.
The mandolin is nothing like the fiddle when one needs a bow and the other one does not.

God bless you always!!!

Of course, of the right hand (if you're right handed).

For the left hand they are exactly the same. GDAE.

My very favorite current musician does play 2 instruments, but I'm not at all sure why this is the requirement. Seems arbitrary when you have a great like Clara Schumann--a piano virtuoso who also composed. Like did she have to also pick at a violin to meet the requirement?
yes, or some other instrument.

Lee Aaron was hot and had a good voice.......found this, very funny, look at that.....

I admire the musicians who reach at least middle age, never have drug addictions, and never have cosmetic surgery. I don't know any specific examples, but there are some possibilities, women still alive in their 70s and 80s. Carole King is 83.

OP's rule about playing 2 instruments is silly, but he left a big loophole. A pen is an instrument. Anyone who both writes and sings plays 2 instruments.

This is easily by leaps and bounds my favorite song of hers.the song gives me goosebumps. I lover her personaly as well,I still vividly remember being up watching Letterman that night and seeing King perform this song. she got better looking in age as well.

she is far more gorgeous here than in her earlier days.

never heard of her,is she still touring, does she come close to being as hot now as she was back then?
She's canadian,, fairly popular in the 80's and still touring

she is also 63 so she might have aged well but she won't look 25
