Trump Says He Is Prepared to Send ā€˜More Than the National Guard’ Into U.S. Cities

President Trump told American troops assembled in Japan on Tuesday that he was prepared to send ā€œmore than the National Guardā€ into cities to enforce his crackdowns on crime and immigration, further escalating how he has talked about using the military at home and abroad.

Speaking to thousands of military service members aboard an aircraft carrier at the Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan on Tuesday, Mr. Trump delivered a partisan speech that resembled the raucous rallies that made him an ascendant force in U.S. politics.

But throughout his nearly hourlong speech, his usual ramblings about the physical appearances of audience members and steam-powered catapults were laced with dark warnings about how he might choose to deploy military forces.

ā€œWe have cities that are troubled, we can’t have cities that are troubled,ā€ Mr. Trump said. ā€œAnd we’re sending in our National Guard, and if we need more than the National Guard, we’ll send more than the National Guard, because we’re going to have safe cities.ā€

Unless he is talking about flying around dumping poop on Americans from above in his kingly jet, he must mean sending in regular troops on missions in to US cities. Ones they are not trained for. Of course perhaps crime reduction isn't the mission. Maybe it's to establish a pretense for declaring martial law. Or as MTG calls it, "marshall law."

I believe he said much the same thing when he and Hegseth brow beat senior US military leaders a month ago.

His words should shock Americans and the media, but nothing he says shocks anyone anymore.

Why is the corporate media not condemning his words?

3rd term is a necessity
4th, I'm hopeful about.
You’re nuts.

But that won't really improve your point. Until trump actually starts serving his third term.
Hopefully he doesn't mean more of this.

Judge Admonishes Border Patrol Leader for Tactics in Chicago

In a courtroom in downtown Chicago on Tuesday, a federal judge admonished Gregory Bovino, a senior Border Patrol official who has become a face of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, for his agency’s use of force and tear gas in Chicago in recent weeks.

For more than an hour, the judge, Sara L. Ellis of Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, read Mr. Bovino restrictions she had previously set as part of a lawsuit over tactics that agents are using and cited examples of times his agents appeared to violate those restrictions.

They used tear gas in a neighborhood where children were about to march in a Halloween parade, Judge Ellis said. They failed to warn residents before tossing tear gas canisters at them, she said, noting an incident in which an agent threw a canister out of a car as it drove away.

The judge then ordered Mr. Bovino, who took the stand in his usual green fatigues and Border Patrol insignia, to appear at the federal courthouse at the end of every weekday to personally provide her with a report on the day’s arrests and incidents.

There's no reason I can think of not to start locking up ICE agents who violate the conditions of temporary restraining orders.

It appears ICE agents are trying to provoke US citizens by tear gassing and beating them until there is an unfortunate incident giving Dotard a pretense to be even more heavy handed.

We can only speculate as to what he meant. The message is unclear. Could just be rambling. Cant use normal military for police actions in the US

I'll probably be on the receiving end of their wrath for saying this, but I genuinely believe that most here have absolutely no clue what is actually going on and the direction this world is heading in.

Even when strategies like "Problem - Reaction - Solution" have been explained over and over again, they still believe the official narratives. And both sides do that, as long as whoever is in power has the right letter by his name. Ah well. I think one day they will all finally realize they've been duped, but of course by that time it will be too late for our republic.

15th post
If it gets to the point that he'll need more than just some federalized guards, then everyone in this nation should be fully awake to the fact that we are, in fact, in the midst of a hot civil war.

Unless those leaders in those hot zones start doing their civil duty.

What he means by that is likely some element of the Navy or the Coast Guard.

In Pasadena, a small city basically inside the Big City of Houston, there were people trying to stop ICE from doing their job. It may be that a small contingent of patrol boats, or troop landing craft would be sent up out Buffalo Bayou, or base in the Ship Chanel.

Obviously, San Fran is a port city, so landing Marines there would be a natural.

Yeah marines storming the homeland is perfectly acceptable.
