What Do You Think God Should Have Done With These People?

Pride, pride in oneself; pride is one of the strongest enemies of religion. If you can stand on your own, you don't need religion. And that's what they fear, people waking up and taking responsibility for themselves. Living the lives they're supposed to lead instead of the life of obedience to religion. God does things of us; to live, to flourish, to learn and to love. It does not require obedience, or adherence to any religion.
Pure undefiled religon is in you, letting people live their lives, not being offended by whatever, having great peace in you. That maintains peace.

Defiled religon, depends on shame, guilt, fear giving, condeming, accusing, froward words, and perverted scripture to get people to chant death to people.
I can't always agree with all the things you say, you are definitely a free soul. I think we can agree on one thing, when people use the Bible as a weapon to hurt other people, this does not reflect or God desires. Peace be with you.

Or, he just doesn't care about individuals and is playing all his long term plans on every organic life form in The Universe.
Man was disobedient and got pitched out of Eden that furnished an eternity of comfort and happiness. Disobedience led to a world of pain and sadness. Man has a choice now to obey God's word and to return to a heaven like Eden only better. No sickness, no pain, no hate growing from competitiveness. His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.

To be fair, putting a giant apple tree in the middle of the garden with a DO NOT EAT sign is the textbook definition of entrapment.

If man (and woman) eating the apple wasn't part if His ineffable plan, then why didn't he put the apple on the top of a mountain, or on the moon?

Obeying God's word does not mean influencing laws that exist, terrifying people, making them to be afraid to be themselves.

You need to direct your prayers of grievance to God, not me. I have no theology degree. I just love God for his gift of life and all his generosity of giving me strict but loving parents, four siblings, the best husband who ever made his wife happy, by living his religion one act of loving kindness after another in life, making sure 500 linemen practiced safety for themselves and others. etc. may God rest his good natured soul.

You can reach God in prayer. You don't seem to like his believers very much, so if you're interested in a heavenly future you might pick a bible website and discover all you need to become eligible to convince Him you believe in his goodness. Most people with your viewpoint blame God for bad stuff when actually somebody else did the bad stuff. You seem adverse to his kingdom. Unbelief on steroids is difficult to change as disobedience ad perpetuum. The only one I know of for sure was the Apostle Paul when he was dealt with by being blinded by the light on the Road to Demascus where he was headed to assist authorities to deter the great Christian expansion. Good evening. My little pitt bull is chewing again and needs an evening outing. Good night.

Entrapment? God wasn't around when Eve caved to the serpent who tempted her with a false narrative that God would do nothing if she ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. God warned
they ignored the warning. Not His fault. lol

Jeremiah Chapter 7

They were dealing with each other unjustly Jeremiah 7:5

They were oppressing foreigners Jeremiah 7:6

They were oppressing the fatherless {orphans} and
widows {the defenseless} Jeremiah 7:6

They were killing innocent people Jeremiah 7: 6

They were stealing, murdering, committing adultery and
committing perjury in the courts. Jeremiah 7:9

God spoke to them again and again and told them to stop
doing all these sins, but they refused to listen to Him and
they kept on murdering innocent people. Jeremiah 7:13

They were stiff-necked and would not listen and obey the
Lord -- they refused to respond o His correction. Jeremiah 7:24-28

They even murdered their own children by burning them in fire as
sacrifices to their blood-thirsty false gods. Jeremiah 7:30-31

God spoke to them repeatedly and told them to stop murdering
innocent people, and to stop stealing, and to stop oppressing
widows and orphans and to stop murdering their children by
offering them in the fires as sacrifices to their false blood-thirsty
gods -- but they de facto told God, "No we will NOT stop
murdering innocent people." See all of Jeremiah chapter 7

So?

So God destroyed them and gave their dead bodies to the birds
of the air and they became meals for the vultures -- "food for
the birds" Jeremiah 7:32-33

Concluding Remarks:
No human is forced to choose wrongly and thereby bring destruction
upon themselves. God gave us free will and we can choose to listen
to Him and obey His commands. He knows what is best for us and
He has made a way for us to say no to destructive sin and wrong doing.

The Lord Jesus opened our path to forgiveness and peace with
God by His death on the Cross. He purchased our salvation by
shedding His blood on Calvary. His death and Resurrection created
a New Covenant {a New Testament} between God and humanity.

"Whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life.
He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."
John 5:24

"Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ" Romans 5:1

You too, today, can find peace with God , , , ,

"To all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave
the right to become children of God." John 1:12

If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your savior, simply pray
this simple prayer from the heart:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your
forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the
dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart
and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
In Your Name. Amen."

What makes you think a God that doesn't exist was ever going to do with them.
He has no record of doing anything for anyone in history.

Shame and guilt; religion depends on those. God does not.
And yet God chose to be born into this world to testify to the truth and suffer death to reconcile mercy with justice because of OUR sins.

There is no they.

It is each man's failure to take accountability for his mistakes and failures which leads to all of his problems.

The words of warning spoken by God, was that sign. How dare you accuse God of being evil.

What Do You Think God Should Have Done With These People?

Thinking of what God should have done is beyond my pay grade.
At least as I see it.

What do you think?
BTW: not about my pay grade, the question is from the author to God

Just asking

No animosity intended or implied
Just curious

Why ask What "should have" God done, when the answer is contained in scripture? Jer. 31:31-34

Jeremiah 24:2

King James Version

2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

Wait, what is this all about, I have never before read this verse.

Jeremiah 31:31-34
New International Version
31 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to[a] them,
declares the Lord.
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
Bible Gateway passage: Jeremiah 31:31-34 - New International Version

Ok, if you say so
From where I come from, "I will" is future tense.
Has it happened yet?
