Most of Jewish and Early Christian commentators saw it is a harm to the woman, not to the fruit of the womb. Back in the time "premature birth" (especially very premature) usually meant that the fruit of the womb would not survive. Very basic biology. If you want a baby, open your legs if you're female or if you're a bloke, find a willing woman with open legs. If neither wants a baby, keep the sperm off the egg, use a different orifice. Being pregnant in 99.9% of cases is not hazardous to health. Using healthcare for abortion is merely a contraception. If you don't want a baby and you instigate the makings of one, nature rewards your stupidity with a prize, a baby.

If rape, incest etc.. is mentioned, that's less than 1% of abortions and irrelevant to the argument.

Those that don't have the ability and/or brains not to conceive if they want a baby, should they be allowed to vote, drive a car, own a gun etc.. If they're that dumb.......
