Just thinking. . .

I wonder how one of these would perform with a longer BBL.

LOL.....I had one of those briefly when I went through my Bullpup stage. Not great, not terrible.

I think the only bullpup I have left now is a 1st gen. KT SG-7 (7 + 1) shotgun. It's not near as awkward as most bullpups once you lose the carry handle..

Like my example except mine's in OD green.

I got get shed of the carry handle and put a 12" rail on it when they became available and used Danial Defense fixed sights. I also put a five shell carrier on the right side.

The Gen 2 ditched the carry handle and comes with a 12" rail standard.

Makes a different kind of sense as a shotgun. Close quarters and all.

I don't know why, (and maybe I'm wrong) but a full length barrel on a bull pup design seems like it would be a good combo for shorter overall length, but still good for long distance shooting and still be semi-auto.

Does that resonate at all?

A longer barrel sort of defeats the point of a bullpup.

In the case of the KG-7 it packs 18.5" of barrel into a 25.50" OAL shotgun.

My stamped 14" barreled Mossberg Shockwave with an entry length stock is 31.75" OAL.

Oh I know it's not the original purpose of the BP design. . . I'm thinking of how the balance might be, total length (how many inches shaved off, etc.)

I guess I don't need to know.

Telling myself now. . . "I really don't need more projects"

I need to make that my motto!

It's called "mission creep". ;)
