I reside in eastern Washington state. I am a ways out from any cities. There are two small towns within several miles of me, the biggest one actually is big enough to have a four way stop sign intersection(no traffic lights). It's so quiet out here one can likely near hear an ant fart. I work the land & harvest crops(alfalfa, barley & oats) on my acreage to help my wallet from dehydrating. The area has both desert lakes & a little further away high country lakes. It's peaceful & away from the insanity of the big cities my city cousins face daily. Folks out here are for the most part farmers & ranchers. Crime is nonexistent this far out. Natural disasters are limited to wild fires in the highlands which are a ways from the flatlands I reside in. Folks in the two towns closest to my acreage are friendly. Folks out here don't seem to care about color of skin or different facial features/ethnicity. It's kind of a Mayberry atmoshphere minus Deputy Barney Fife & Sheriff Andy Taylor. The computer keeps me in touch with my fellow Americans. It's the peace & quiet, zero crime plus excellent neighbors & no natural disasters that keep me this far out. What do you like most about the geographical area that you dwell in?
