It was far worse than that. Dr. Gosnell started his abortion practice in the 1970's as the health department came around and declared he was not up to code for a variety of issues. However, instead of coming back and shutting him down they simply stopped coming round because abortion was a political football, and they felt that any restrictions on abortion was unacceptable, even if the provider was not giving care up to standard, he was at least there to give more abortions that otherwise would not be happening.

Turn the dial back some 30 years and the FBI begins to investigate Gosnell for narcotic abuses. To make a long story short, they failed to prove he violated any laws with narcotics, even though he was having unlicensed staff distribute them, but local law enforcement was also called to the scene as they discovered his monstrous practice, visions they simply could not get out of their head with jars of dead aborted babies Gosnell proudly displayed on his desk. They begged the FBI to help them investigate what was clearly a practice that was violating a whole host of other laws, but the FBI had no interest and moved on. Again, it was the political football thingy the FBI had no interest in pursuing. Put simply, the only reason Gosnell was brought to justice was because the local law enforcement pushed an investigation that they were later warned not to push because abortion was such a sacred cow in America. Most in the investigation that their careers might negatively be affected if they proceeded, but they did anyway because they simply could not sleep at night, and they still had a conscience. They ended up proving that Gosnell routinely murdered viable infants, and even killed a woman. He also targeted women of color for subpar care knowing it was cheaper to do so and they were poorer than his white patients, thus far less likely to attack him legally for the subpar care. When they brought him to justice the anticipated it being a media circus since he clearly had become the #1 mass murderer in US history, killing so many viable infants. But to their shock, not one person from the media showed up to cover the trial of Gosnell. The NAACP did not even make a peep about black women being targeted for subpar treatment. It was a media blackout, because, you guessed it, abortion is a sacred cow, not to be attacked in any way. They later tried to do a movie about it, but no actors in Hollywood were interested, so they employed the service of unknown actors to make the film, which movie theatres around the country did not want to play. It ended up being that a very few put the movie in their theatres, as the media ignored the movie, thus very few even know the movie exists. It would not surprise me if you can't find the movie anywhere on Netflix or even to buy on Amazon, because the far-Left rules and they are champions of infanticide.

Remember, this is a party that has 1/3 of their base wanting Trump dead from the last failed assassination attempt. They do not value human life in the least. Also, this case is just a microcosm of what is probably going on in mass in every major city in the United States. Roe vs. Wade makes the claim it prevented back-alley abortions, when more than likely it merely legalized them in mass around the country in such practices as the one Dr. Gosnell ran in Philly.

What the Left is now doing in states all around the nation is making abortion a decision only between the woman and her doctor. As states around the country put abortion in their Constitution, they have removed any mention of term restrictions and simply let the decision be made between the patient and her doctor, doctors like Dr. Gosnell and poor scared women being pressured to have an abortion by those who got them pregnant. Now the Dr. Gosnell's of the world will have the law on their side.

Just to illustrate how corrupt the media is, in Ohio as they were pushing for one of those state Constitutional amendments to be passed, which they later did, they used the media to sell their point of view. They picked on a 10 year old girl in Ohio who went to an abortion doctor but said she was denied an abortion because Roe vs Wade had been overturned and the laws in Ohio now prevented him from giving an abortion. At first, the lawmakers in Ohio said the story must be made up because had this happened, the abortion doctor was first mandated by law to alert the police that a crime had been committed since there is no legal way to impregnate a 10 year old girl. But no one did. So the mother brought the child to Inidiana, where it still was legal to have an abortion, and they did give her an abortion. Naturally, they also had to alert the police, especially since the abortion doctor illegally alerted the media, violating patient confidentiality, which should have cost her. her medical license, but nothing was done once again. More laws ignored. But upon investigation, it was found that the father was an illegal alien. At this point the media quickly dropped the story and you heard nothing else about it. But then later we found out that the man lived with the mother and the mother refused to believe he was the father despite the medical evidence of it being his and the fact he admitted to it. No, the mother wanted the boyfriend to move back into the house with her daughter where he could routinely rape her and get her pregnant and bring her to abortion centers, like the one in Ohio where the doctor failed to report it to police.

This is probably what would have happened to the girl had Roe vs Wade not been overturned.

The whole reason Roe vs Wade came into being in the first place. Is because states were passing egregious abortion laws which were endangering women's lives. Here we go again BUT it's even worse.
