God cursed Eve, and all women since, to be ruled by their husbands. Women are equal...until they marry. Women who don't submit to their husband's authority are soon...divorced. My (ex-late) wife grew up in a household where women ruled. She thought she should be making the important decisions in our marriage. When she learned that she wasn't in charge she divorced me. After that her life fell apart. Personal story yes, but I've witnessed dozens of similar ones.

I might be a softie but i dont want to rule over my wife but i neither want to be ruled by her i think respecting eatch other listening to what the other has to say and making compromisses is my preference

I love the ladies, always have. I just have an intrinsic need to be in charge.

Note the Proverbs 31 wife and the authority and responsibilities she had within her family, but she didn't seek her husband's position "in the gate".

I for example got told some things by my care giver for example to lose weight etc it was a advice but i worked hard and lost twenty pounds i also let her say what she wants to do next but usually in agreement

She is not my wife of course but she is a woman and we are equal

We are living in dangerous times. It is strongly suggested that one of the things that brought the Roman empire down was the "equality of women". Jes' sayin'.

I agree. It also reveals a need to be surrounded by sycophants. I have no such compulsion. I'm basically a loner.

Thats not good either we need relationships and the quality of them defines our mental health. Barriers ate trust issues, being adopted, poor attachments by parents.

We respect each others roles in our relationship, ideally. Men generally have a larger vision and more responsibilities than wives, although today that's changing. Traditionally a woman's 'circle' included husband and family. A man's circle includes wife, family, and job.

I kinda see what you mean and i agree its different then bossing your wife around

Alpha's have a need to serve others, which is true leadership. Beta's have a need to be lead and served. This is in direct conflict with common beliefs about the two.

Youre rationalizing. Youre divorced. Thats failure not leadership. When it effects relationships theres a problem

Divorce isn't a fault or weakness; it's the remedy for a bad marriage.

I'm a conservative and she was a liberal. That was our biggest problem. Also an age difference.

Both have to grow into the marriage. We had a ten-year age difference which didn't help.

Ask yourself this. What would my life be like If I didnt define myself as an alpha who needs to be in control. The answer is why you made this choice.
Also what would my relationships be like if I was not in control.
This will reveal the emotional truth and improve your insight and sense of identity

The need to be in control is an avoidance of an experience from a memory
