Zone1 Were there human beings before Adam and Eve?

Better check again.

The problem is that I asked. Repeatedly. Simple, basic, common sense questions. The problem is you just don't know the answers.

I don't need to check again. I answered your questions.

The problem is that you didn't know the answer, but you thought you did. When I gave you the real answer you're standing there looking stupid.

Just as the global scientific community is not worried about your false belief.

That's fine with me. You and your scientific community can believe what they want.

I will believe the Bible.

No problem....right?

Quantrill

I don't need to check again. I answered your questions.
Want me to go back and list them again? You haven't answered a single one of my questions except with the usual dismissive bloviation saying nothing.

The problem is that you didn't know the answer, but you thought you did.
The problem is that I already knew the answers and your bloviated nonsense wasn't any of them.

And as to standing there looking stupid, I'm not the one stumped here for an answer. :auiqs.jpg:

Great! So I won't come to your church and force your congregation to learn scientific facts, and you wont go to schools and force children to learn creationism myths.

Then no quarrel.

Sure list them again, and where you gave them?

You mean force children to learn 'scientific theories'.

Quantrill

Sure list them again, and where you gave them?

Why would I do that when:
  1. You claim you already answered them so should already know what they were.
  2. All my questions are plainly visible--- all you need to do if move your wittle finger and read the posts.
  3. It's /your/ thread after all. If you're too damn lazy to even know the questions (questions you say you already answered!), then how can you possibly answer anything???

I didnt read it in the Bible and didnt knew this but a feminist professor in university told me there existed a female before Eve her name was apparently 'Lilith' and she bossed Adam around as boss ***** matriachal power woman 'Adam that little punk cried to God and God created the submissive Eve'.

No, only one Adam. No evolution. Sorry.

Quantrill
The first Adam is primitive. At the end Adam has acquired moral values. He has evolved. However there are still throwbacks like you who cant evolve

I thought so.

You made the accusation. Just show me the questions of yours I haven't answered. And I will answer them.

I didn't start this thread. If you don't want to show me the questions, that's fine. Don't worry about it. Just ask me again sometime.

So how long have you hated women
Many think the Bible is misogynistic. The battle of the sexes began in the garden of Eden when God created sexes. It has been raging ever since.

No, the serpent was no metaphor. Pretend and live with whatever makes you feel good.

Quantrill
Making sense of these stories is a continuing work in progress. I don't carve anything in stone.

Genesis states woman is not above or below man she is his other self. Some religions lower women and it seems like the most extreme do it. Mormons, Islam, orthodox Jews, fundamentalist Christians

I think you can learn creation in religion classes and evolution in sciences like biology physics and chemistry

You can hear both

How am I a throwback when I believe the Bible? What does that make you who don't believe the Bible?

No, the Bible doesn't say that, you say that. You don't believe your own Pentateuch. Nothing said about any evolution of Adam. Adam was created perfect.

(Deut. 31:15-18) "And the LORD appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle.

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.

"Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?

"And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods"

What should one expect from unbelieving Jews? Just more unbelief.

Where does (Genesis) state that?

Quantrill

I think thats a modern interpretation to make it fit because Genesis is older then when Darwin discovered Evolution Theory

The Evolution Theory might very well be correct and you can explain many things yes im not against though
There are two very different Adams. Primitive at first at the end developed with moral values. The term in his likeness is used. That means potentially divine. Adam has the ability to improve. Evolve. They didnt have word for it but they did know mankind grows and develops.

Genesis has some advanced concepts such as the inherent need for a life with meaning
Viktor Frankl discovered that in 1944.

God cursed Eve, and all women since, to be ruled by their husbands. Women are equal...until they marry. Women who don't submit to their husband's authority are soon...divorced. My (ex-late) wife grew up in a household where women ruled. She thought she should be making the important decisions in our marriage. When she learned that she wasn't in charge she divorced me. After that her life fell apart. Personal story yes, but I've witnessed dozens of similar ones.
