And what about the semi-skilled people who had already been at the $20 an hour rate? To maintain parity, they’ll want $30. And then the entry-level college grad who was earning $60,000 ($30/hr) will rightly feel THEY deserve more. And so on and so on.

What Newsome did is just put a major financial burden on every small business in his state, and drive many of them out of business altogether. THEN where are the jobs?

I wish these liberals had some basic grasp of elementary Econ.
