Obamacare itself is a rather conservative concept, addressing healthcare needs without socialism. Consider if it were applied to education. Every family pays for their children's education, but lower income people get tax credits to cover tuition at participating private schools of their choice, achieving universal education without a public school system. Your side would scream bloody murder. But, when applied to medical care, your side is all for it (granted, as a temporary measure on the way to a public healthcare system).

The most conservative thing Republicans could do is expend and fix Obamacare. It should replace all other government healthcare spending. And, free-market deregulation should be introduced to reverse escalating costs. Let me by drugs from China.
