Welcome to the resistance? Mitch McConnell bucks Trump with ‘no’ votes . Mitch as a superb tactician as well as a superb strategist.

We The People are The Government

thank you

we elect people to represent our interests, but also to follow their own conscience when doing so

see:
Representative Buddy Carter - Georgia MAGA Republican Carter supports the repeal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). He has said that there is no circumstance that would induce him to vote in favor of keeping the ACA, including if most of his constituents were in favor of it.

I agree he has that right. Then he's up for election and the people of his district get to decide (though outside $$$ will and can corrupt local elections).
Government alone is too expensive with projects and agendas. Space Launch System is up to 80 billion dollars with infrastructure now. 4 billion dollars a launch. Do you understand? We cannot compete government side.

Yes, they are supposed to represent US. Not them, or their Marxist masters.

US.

That's why we voted the corrupt pricks out of power.

OK, now address what I said.
That I'm a Democrat? I'm not. I'm a registered Republican. So why can't you explain why anyone would oppose audits to show where our Government has been spending money?

Why would you expect me to explain that?

I actually don't expect you to explain it, Pknopp because I think we both know that there isn't a good reason why Government SHOULDN'T be audited!

They should be. Just not by someone that should be a part of that audit. A huge conflict of interest.

The President is Head of the Executive Branch. He's in charge of all that includes. You don't think that the Head of an organization has a duty to audit the spending of that organization?

Who do you think should have been doing audits then and why haven't they?

Well there really isn't anyone doing audits right now. Audits to government agencies would take months.

I would be fine with someone like Ron Paul. Ron is getting a bit old but someone along those lines.

Ron and whom else? You think one man can audit the US Government?

I hate to break this to you but there is a team of people auditing Government spending. What they're finding is appalling.

I'm not able to create an audit group. I've seen no verification anyone is actually auditing anything. Have something?
So the lawsuits brought to stop Musk's team from looking at Government spending is about nothing? They're going through the spending records of one agency at a time and reporting what they're finding to both Musk and Trump but to the American people. That's why the desperate lawsuits to prevent them from getting access to records.

Welcome to the resistance? Mitch McConnell bucks Trump with ‘no’ votes

Democrats heap praise on their former foe, while his GOP colleagues express disappointment.

This reminds me. Reminds of when I have made statements regarding Mitch McConnell, praising his skills. I've done the same with Justice Clarence Thomas (informed by reading of people like Jeffrey Rosen and others), and some others with whom I am politically opposed to. and or even ideologically opposed to. Give credit where it is due. Keeping any inadvertent demonization at a minimum (maybe personal attacks, but attacks on skills and results).

As many of his colleagues have swallowed their concerns about these nominees’ backgrounds or policy positions, McConnell has silently and with little fanfare voted against them — refusing to even meet with the candidates one on one before doing so.
“The Senate’s power of advice and consent is not an option; it is an obligation, and one we cannot pretend to misunderstand,” McConnell said in his statement Wednesday. “When a nominee’s record proves them unworthy of the highest public trust, and when their command of relevant policy falls short of the requirements of their office, the Senate should withhold its consent.”
I've long praised Mitch as a superb tactician as well as a superb strategist. Most successful politicians, advisors, managers, strategists, and leaders are either one or the other. Not both.

Give me a fuckin' break, dude. No Republican is disappointed in the Cocaine Turtle, because we all knew how he'd vote anyways. Not that it makes any difference and not that it's going to help you fucksticks in any way.

But it is hilarious that you hated the Turtle before you loved him. He can now join the ranks of such retards as McCain, Pence, and Cheney. Maybe ya'll can get together and have a big gay circle jerk together.

That's the Musk Staff that's conducting the audits that you seem to think haven't been done.

Shut the fuck up.

Mitch McConnell is a never trumper , a warmonger neocrazy RINO scumbag

He and Nancy Pelosi stole the 2020 election and manufactured the J6 riots

So the lawsuits brought to stop Musk's team from looking at Government spending is about nothing?

They certainly are not necessarily audits. Lawsuits can be brought to stop someone from snooping around where they do not belong either.

Someone with billions in government contracts has no business doing any of this.

It takes months to do an audit like this.
