Cowboys should sign Rivers,
Good question because that was my own idea about Rivers
a long time ago actually. Denver, Washington, Dallas, the NY Jets maybe.
of those three others Denver is the ONLY other realistic option for rivers. NY JETS? dude are you serious? a no hope losing organization like them?
that would have been a good fit for him back in the late 90's when bill parcells, the best modern day coach was their coach back then, the guy took them from being a laughingstock to just one game away from the superbowl with a washed up vinnie testeverde as the QB back then no less , now if this was the late 90's and parcells was still there then yeah that would be the PERFECT situation for Rivers but dude, get in the real world and come back to reality on him playing for them now will you? lol ,you been hanging around those moron cheatriot apologists too much listening WAY too much to what THEY say.
washington? that organization is hopeless as long as daniel snyder in the owner,he is committed to being cheap and hiring loser coach after loser coach like the one he has now, horrible fit for him. Jerry jones has run the cowboys into the ground as well and is no different than snyder either but the difference in the two is big time free agents want to come to play for dallas since they were considered americas team for so many decades. that was WHY michael irvin wanted to play for them and was his first choice coming out of the draft, thats one reason i think the cowboys would be a good fit for him.
Denver would be the only other realistic option for rivers if he did not hook up with cowboys,if elway could pull off the same magic he pulled off with peyton manning when HE was there and get him a great defense to work with as manning got in his second year there,i could see elway getting getting another ring.would probably take longer to get a great defense this time for elway though than it did when he had manning which he got right away for him and there is no guarantee he cold do it a second time either so thats why i think dallas is the best fit for him and the only real option for him.he just doesnt have a good team in denver around him to support him which is what he NEEDS at his age,he cant carry the team on his shoulders anymore.
dallas i think DOES have the supporting cast Rivers needs now at this stage of his career and jones for sure would get the help he needs at the key positions that are needed.
with denver, there are just too many weaknesses that would take too many years fore elway to fill, years that rivers does not have left in him anymore to wait for..
