I sorted it by murder rate. It appeared cities in red states topped it.

That's nonsense. Each city has its own character, its good neighborhoods and its bad neighborhoods.

I know what areas in the Detroit metro area are completely safe, nearly as safe as the town I currently reside in.

The majority white suburbs with conservative voters.

Its even worse since democrats dont report all their crime and prosecute less. Democrat social and crime policies have increased crime. The cover up is trying to hide high crime rates among blacks and the anti police policies. Illegals brought into democrat sanctuary cites also increased crime.

I live 86 miles from Memphis. We get the spillover crime, coming up I-40. This is a big reason I have a permit and carry concealed, much of the time, especially at night. If I have to go to Memphis, I definitely carry 15+1, with two full magazine in the shoulder holster, and a spare full mag in the console. You just don't know.
