First of all, Israel is the obvious criminal aggressor who deserves to be attack.
This was true back in 1946 after Menachem Begin blew up the British peacekeepers in the King David Hotel.

I can certainly understand Israel's reasoning. Iran is an existential threat, proudly and demonstrably so. The clock was ticking. And unlike Gaza, Israel's attacks have been specific, targeted, and defensible.
And maybe best of all, it sounds like Iran's leadership may be cracking, hard. It may turn out that not much more bombing is needed, if the government falls and is replaced with a more democracy-friendly group.

As implied by the thread title it is generally recognized, including by me, that the world would have been a more dangerous place with a nuclear armed Iran. That's especially true for Israel, which necessitated their action.

I’m dismissing the article because it shows that Iran was enriching weapons grade uranium after Trump blew up the deal, proving that it was a dumb thing to do.
Trump didn’t blow up the deal in 2018 because Iran was enriching uranium in 2024.

Iran started it's nuclear program in the 80's with help from China in building two nuclear reactors. In the early 2000s Iran announced that it would begin super enriching Uranium for their own purposes, indicating that they were doing so to develop a weapon. They have never stopped since. Even with your precious deal they simply shook hands with the world with one hand behind their backs fingers crossed and continued to play games with inspections.
Reports before Israel attacked, were that they were within days if not weeks to having enough for a weapon. they were refusing to negotiate, so Israel acted in its national security, and I for one am hopeful they succeed in taking that program out.
Yeah, they were doing it ever since that stupid deal was inked.
