I'm 73 years old. I have not had a flu in many years. I do get chronic bronchitis and have exercise induced asthma. I can lift weights. I can't run. My son wants me to isolate. I've partly isolated. I do just enough to placate him. Those in reasonable health have nothing to worry about.
