Some if not many minorities are in poverty because they maintain their ethnic lifestyle, which may not be compatible with building financial success here. They should probably be identified and struck from the rolls of the "poor", as it is their choice to remain so. This would undoubtedly lift others out of poverty statistically, and things would likely seem brighter than they do now.

Yes, fixing the books for America is needed at least for appearance sake.

Americans are making comparisons to the higher quality of life in the world's democracies and wondering why they aren't doing better. America is the richest country in the world but the working class aren't seeing that wealth.

If the reality can't be changed to benefit Americans, at least this idea of adjusting the statistics will help the truly indoctrinated to believie for a while longer.

Americans make their own financial reality by the way they manage their careers, money, and their health. This is evidenced by the fact that the majority enter their retirement years in poor health and without the means to sustain their previous lifestyle.

You don't know what you are talking about duck. When you make these outlandish claims, why don't you cite a reference. You and Turdeau will do anything you can to distract from the cluster that is Canada. STFU, you have no understanding of American issues.

Most people in America aren't taught to save their money and just spend wisely.
They are taught "GIMME, GIMME, GIMME, NOW, NOW, NOW"!!!
They want it NOW, they want it FAST, they want the latest version, and they don't care how much it costs!!

American kids are NOT taught hard work brings little money, and that money needs to be saved for use for things you need to stay alive.........roof, food, medical necessities. Instead, they are taught to SPEND, SPEND, SPEND! If you got a buck in your pocket or some money left on your credit card.......SPEND IT NOW!!!!

American kids are not equipped to handle any type of adult life. They have NO skills of any kind. Everything they've been taught in school is a LIE. Everything they've seen on TV and in the movies is all LIES. But NOBODY tells them this.

This is why poverty in America is a far more greater tragedy than any other country.

Every single thing in that post is pure bullshit.

Tell that to those who buy the latest iPhone every two years, with dozens of features they will never use. They buy these phones as a status symbol, like Air Jordan's used to be.
I tell everyone I can. My students know about saving, investing, and working.

It's not that simple. Yes, there is a rotting culture in certain segments of America that seems to repeat itself generation after generation, but in many of these places there is also a lack of opportunity. Go back 50 years and many inner city neighborhoods were perfectly safe and acceptable places to live, but there was also plenty of industry and jobs supporting these areas. A lot of that left and the result were these places getting run down and crime took over. It's not just minority areas either. There are large "poverty" and drug addiction rates in largely white areas of the Rust Belt and Appalachia for the same reason.

Of course, there more reasons for failure, and they have more do to with the way people spend their money and time than how much they bring home.

Q. How do you sculpt an elephant?
A. Chip away everything that doesn't look like an elephant.

The income level of minorities is actually enough to build generational wealth within families and communities.

Most of this is bs. The only part that is right is that in some areas there were industries and those industries left. The only rotten culture that repeats itself generation after generation is the culture or subculture of white racism. But that gets denied.

Please make an appointement. Hours for nocturnal rodents and insects are 2 a.m. to 4 a.m., Mon to Fri.

Because most white people aren't racists.

That accounts for people leaving those areas for better opportunities. Those that remain take their chances.

I think inner city blacks have a mobility problem. There are opportunities everywhere, but one often has to relocate to take advantage of them.

The military has been a great place for black men and women to get a leg up, but many young black men disqualify themselves from this and many other opportunities by committing felonies at a young age. Perhaps the recruiters should visit them sooner and explain this.

What a load of shit. Businesses don't move because of blacks, they move because of violence, crime and destruction of business property. It's just that blacks happen to be the largest group that does these things.
