The Spanish Flu is very similar to COVID-19. We relied on herd immunity to mitigate the Spanish Flu. The mortality rate was .0065 of a population of 103 million people in 1918. 675,000 people died in the USA of the Spanish Flu.
We could depend on herd immunity for COVID. The mortality rate should be close to the same for the Spanish Flu and COVID-19.
Based on today's US population it is estimated that 2,145,000 Americans would die by the time herd immunity took care of COVID-19.
With 80% or more American get vaccinated we could save over 1,000,000 American lives.
One of those lives saved could be your mother, your brother or your child.
Do not be scared. Get vaccinated and help save American lives.

The Spanish flu was nothing like COVID, the most at risk people for the Spanish Flu were the most healthy, because they believe the biggest factor was an over-response of the immune system to the bug, and younger people had the best immune systems.
Shit bro. Exactly. We would have been fucked with the 19 flu.

Actually if it was the 1919 flu people would have accepted hard quarantines much easier, and it would be more viable due to the higher mortality rate.
With the free flow of diseased illegals, all this vaccine and Covid talk is now fucking unserious nonsense

Complaining about that just plays into the left's game, the issue is the unfettered immigration and the progressive support of it, COVID is just a distraction.

IF this virus had the kind of punch that the great influenza of 1918-1920 had, there would be ZERO need to force vaccine compliance. Those people died HARD. It was horrific what they went through and had there been a vaccine there would have been no need for coercion on any level. The reason so many distrust this vax is down to distrusting media and government. They lied through their teeth for 5 years about the Bad Orange Man and never recanted, even when proof of their lies came to light. NOW the media sycophants NEED Americans to believe them and guess what? Not gonna ever happen again.

There was no vaccine back then so why are you comparing this stuff.

Shouldn't you ask a mod to delete this dog to save you from future hassles
We don't have a vaccine today. The jab doesn't provide immunity nor does it prevent the spread. The most you can expect from it is lessened severity if you get infected. Even after all that they have no idea what the long-term effects may be.

You are 100% correct. I will never believe the msm, government, CDC, WHO or any health care provider who promotes what any of the aforementioned have presented.

The flu shot works the same way. Symptoms are really reduced or total protection

I have known several people personally (close friends) who had this thing and it is NOT "easy". Those that die of it DO "die hard".

What planet do you come from?

And TRUMP was the guy who got the vaccine done stupid. You don't trust your orange God? HE took it even though he had survived covid.

For every 100 people like you that got infected...one or two are dead. Yea...you were lucky.

Good for you. If we try to "sick our way out of this" rather than vaccinate...millions will die

We live in a 1984 world now. A secular jewish guy like stelter with his secular jewish wife and secular jewish kids tells us all the secular gaia ways of living and what is not right and unfair. While living the good life for his family. And the african americans who hate jewish people lap it up. Since we are all blaming individuals and groups. Racism and Bigotry and everything that comes with it is not just in front. It is hidden behind the curtains and it is bowels of the sewers of every place because it is easy to promote the cause as long as the promoter is living on largesse while causing discord to all others. gods come in all flavors. Ask Jessie and Sharpton and all others.

Why do you ignore the over 7600 people in the US who have died from the vaccines and the tens of thousands who have had severe adverse medical events due to the vaccines? The left misinform the American public by enticing them to get vaccinated without telling them the whole truth.

Yeah, mRNA vaccines are genetic modifiers-
No, they're not. Who feeds you this nonsense?

Now do you want to admit that you don't know shit about this
Ah, the irony.

What makes you think spending weeks gasping out your life on a ventilator is a pleasant way to go?

They think like that because they're cult imbeciles.

It's nobodies fault but your own that you're a cult imbecile.

Whatever. Commit suicilde to own the libs. It's literally your funeral.

I did. That's how I know you're just repeating cult propaganda.

As far as I know, the actually vaccine death toll in the USA is still ... three. Last I checked, 3 was less than 685,000.
Over 7600 people have died shortly after getting a vaccine and yet the left conveniently don't want to investigate to find out the cause of death of any of these people - because they don't want us to know. So, they don't investigate and merely say, "they could have died from anything". If that's true, then why do they refuse to find out? Many of these people have been dead for months and yet they still can't figure out why any of them have died? It's because they don't want to know because they want to continue perpetuating their lies.

The Spanish Flu was an actual pandemic with both high rate of infection and great lethality. For whatever reason the Chinese Flu is mostly hype with wildly inflated and/or imaginary figures coming from MSM and previously respected organizations to their discredit. Going by questionable claims almost everybody who died in 2021 died from COVID. I don't buy it.
---------------------
The 1918 influenza pandemic was the most severe pandemic in recent history. It was caused by an H1N1 virus with genes of avian origin. Although there is not universal consensus regarding where the virus originated, it spread worldwide during 1918-1919. In the United States, it was first identified in military personnel in spring 1918. It is estimated that about 500 million people or one-third of the world’s population became infected with this virus.
