Washington Post audio of Trump berating and threatening Georgia Secretary of State for not "finding" votes to change election result. Sedition?

President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.

The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”

Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.

Trump is engaging of sedition and overturning the will of the people through fraud.

Trump should be arrested for sedition for attempting to overthrow the newly elected government of the United States of America.

Everything Trump touches dies.

Is American democracy next?
america isnt a democracy you stupid fuck,,,
Dumbfuck, Georgia is a democracy and Impeached Trump threatened Georgia's Secretary of State with "vague criminal consequences" to "find" enough votes to overturn the will of Georgia's voters.

OH tell me more,,,
Don't need to as I already bitch-slapped you into reality.
I dont feel bitch slapped,,
So? You prolly also don't feel stupid.
why would I???

we are a republic not a democracy,,, and that includes the states,,
Because you are, as you demonstrate yet again. Again, Georgia, just as every other state, is a democracy.

b: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections
you do realize that proves me right dont you??
LOLOLOL

Only if you believe Georgians don't elect Georgia's state legislature -- which apparently, you don't believe. :ack-1:
I have to ask,, why didnt you put the definition of a republic up so we can compare the two??
I didn't have to since Georgia's form of government fits the definition of a "democracy."
no it doesnt,,,
LOL

Again...
b: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections

Once again, everyone here sees you don't believe that ^^^ is true of Georgia. Or any other state, presumably.
again why didnt you also post the def of a republic so we can compare them side by side??
its almost like youre trying to hide something,,,
Again, that's not my argument. So why would I post something I'm not arguing? My claim is that Georgia, and every one of the individual states, are democracies. And I proved that by posting the definition of a democracy, which absolutely applies to the states. Your inability to comprehend that is not my problem.
because if you did you would realize what youre saying is not true,,, thats why you wont post it,,

your argument is wrong,, we are a republic not a democracy and what you posted proves it,,
Who's we?
You are playing a semantics game with him as he attempts to deflect
Yes, but purely for entertainment purposes.

The latter is concerned about the legality of the tape being released, while the former is concerned about only 5 minutes of the tape being released and context.
As I posted, Georgia wiretapping law only requires one party permission. As Trump made the phone call TO Georgia, that state would have jurisdiction over which laws applied.

The language of Georgia's wiretapping law explains that it is a one-party consent law when it comes to recording other people's audio conversations.

fuck trump and all his crazy lawsuits, just another one for the trash can, such a sore loser...

View attachment 437053
The loser is Biden which will become clear after Jan. 6 but before Jan. 16, 2021.
Such desperation and self-denial there, sweetie.

Just heard some of the tape. Not too sure if what Trump said is enough to get him in trouble legally (although the part about getting 11,870 votes - one more than Biden - is certainly dodgy),

This is just like Weinstein telling young actresses to have sex with him, or they'll never work in hollywood again.

Except sex is legal, while changing election results isn't.
Worse than Trump shooting someone on 5th Ave.
I'm waiting for trump's cultists to be so deep down the rabbit hole that they VOLUNTEER to be shot on 5th Ave by their orange Lard & Master.

So trump is all about threats and you admit it.

And threats of lawsuits
And 3,500 actual lawsuits Trump filed

Remember Trump sued Stormy Daniels, and Trump threatened to sue the 16 women who accused him of assault.

I didn't even know that recording what the public has a right to know about could possibly be a crime.

And what was your reaction to being "educated"

Yes, because Washington is packed with corrupt politicians who don't want the public to know the truth.

Which makes your previous ignorance all the more amazing.

Give you a free ride....

More not so subtle threats by members of the Orange cult.

I am now convinced that Trump is right and his supporters have been right all along. I want to help out with his cause and am starting a fund to support the President. If you’re conservative and love America Venmo me your life savings.

The TDS folks are crazy and stupid. President Trump simply gave the corrupt Georgia official a chance to avoid prison time if justice prevails if the Georgia official simply corrects one of the several areas of obvious voter fraud.
And why did Fake News WaPo bleep out the name of the Ruby Freeman the obese, ghetto democrat who is on video committing voter fraud? :afro:
So...you acknowledge that trump threatened him.
Trump threatened him the same way a parent threatens his child the Santa Claus won't leave any presents if he doesn't behave.
Still embarrassing yourself, I see.

I'm waiting for a Trump supporter to grow a brain. But that's not happening any time soon.

Corrupt?... I don't think necessarily. Trump believes, right or wrong, that there are certainly enough illegal/unauthorized/questionable votes in GA to overturn the outcome.
So what? He doesn't care how the votes are found. All judicial avenues have been exhausted.
You gotta admit you are skirting the question.
I asked, is finding enough votes that ARE invalid corrupt?
Or is the system that ignored and allowed those votes corrupt?
Trump is Trump. He is a 74 year old $billionaire. This guy has been bending rules his whole career. And so does every single other wealthy, successful person.
What he is saying to them is not illegal. He is voicing aggravation that it didn't go his way, knows that he really did win if they would "correct the problem"....
The corruption of this is far-far-far-far-far less than the encyclopedia of REAL corruption that has existed in the White House for over 40 years now.

How about Trump loving Ryan Germany’s last name? I did Nazi that coming!

Thx Twitter

That is proof to me that he knows this fraud thing is all a lie.

If he believed there was fraud, he wouldn't have tried to intimidate and blackmail the SOS of Georgia.

If he believed there was fraud, he would not be demanding that the SOS of Georgia find votes for him.

If he believed there was fraud, he would have been happy to provide the proof instead of saying he didn't need to provide it.

All that phone call says to me is that trump knows he lost a fair and honest election and is cheating to remain president.

There is nothing illegal here.... dumb? yes. Heresay? yes
WIth all of this - obviously what is being ignored is we have two state officials who recorded a conversation with the President so they could give or sell it to the media.
It wasn't leaked. It was provided.
Is that illegal?
Have you looked at Georgia and Federal laws related to it?

If a democratic president had done what he did, would you be defending the Democratic president that lost his second term, for the same actions as Trump has done?
The most important thing is that NO Democratic President has ever done what he did.

This filthy ass Democrat Negro Mayor of DC didn't want the National Guard when the BLM terrorists and the Communists were tearing DC up but now she wants them to protect the city from patriots protesting a stolen election.

Who is worse?

The Democrat assholes that stole the election or the weak minded RINOs that let them get away with it?
The orange cultists who are showing how weak of mind they are.

What I can't understand is, if the democrats (aka Joe Biden) managed to pull off a huge multi-state voter fraud operation, without leaving any physical evidence, no witnesses, not one of what would have to be thousands of accomplices forging signatures, intercepting mail and manufacturing millions of ballots. A huge "mission impossible" operation in complete secrecy, and without leaving so much as fingerprint as evidence.

Why they think people who could pull off that kind of operation shouldn't be running the government.

I'm clearly saying that your point is incorrect.
The facts don't lead to your conclusion.
Trump asked the person in charge of certifying the number of votes in the election, to "find" another 11,780 (a specific number of votes) that would change the election outcome.
Starting at 2:15 in the clip below, I hear Trump say, "So look, all I want to do is this: I just want to find 11,780 votes,..."
He doesnt ask him to find the votes for him. So unless what you are saying is found in the hour long clip, that I admit having not listened to, I believe your statement is out of context.

He mentioned the 11780 votes several times in the conversation.

Mentioning this amount shows his intent was to reverse the result of the election, to his own favor.... not simply to find any fraud there.

If he believed there was fraud he wouldn't have been demanding and trying to blackmail the SOS of Georgia to find him votes.

He would have asked that the SOS of Georgia find the proof of the fraud.

He would have provided all the proof he has of his claims of fraud. Instead he said he didn't need to provide any proof.

The cheaters are trump and those who are helping him to cheat.
