The Bible is nothing else, but a "man's experimentation in spiritual matters" since it was "composed"/written by man - who's religious believers claim until today - without ever having any proof - that is is supposedly based onto a collection of God's words.
All you are stating is: I simply chose to believe what someone told me, and I never asked (dared to ask) for evidence.
Did you ever ask for "evidence" in regards to the Easter-bunny story? - that was brought to the USA via German immigrants in the 17th century, and that is nowadays practiced by 88% of the Americans.
Later these Easter-egg searching kids grow up, and due to religious institutions - who threaten and subjected them with punishment, persecution and death since 3000 years - they "chose" to believe it.
BTW - it's a pagan tradition (Eostra), dating back to at least 200 B.C. - and is "solely" practiced by Christians. Independent of the Jewish custom, when the saltwater into which many Jews dip hard-boiled eggs at the Seder, is supposed to recall the tears and sweat of their supposed enslaved ancestors in Egypt.
