Was Hitler a Christian?

They aren't Christian's, but rather they are wolves in sheep's clothing.
There are scores of people who maintain that they are Christians and are lying. What else are they lying about? Trump is a "born again" Christian, according to him.

Hitler was born and raised as a Catholic.....he never dis-avowed Catholiciism.
That's not true...
Hitler was a member of the Lutheran Church as Lutheranism is the official state church of Germany founded by Martin Luther.

Hitler, at one point considering going into the clergy but decided for political power instead.

Wrong.

Hitler was born a Catholic in Austria. He never became a Lutheran.
As a student of rhetoric...I studied Hitler extensively...
The term "Catholic" means "general"... literally....there's only and has been only one church in Germany since the reformation. (100 years war and Bubonic plague ensured that)
Because of the city of Geneva Switzerland is close by the Lutheran Church of Germany is strongly Calvinistic in nature. (Which also provided Bibles to the English)

Later in life Martin Luther became highly anti-Semitic and fairly crazy. It's believed that he suffered from a brain disorder that does highly increase cognitive function during your younger and midlife but makes you a raving lunatic when senior. (The name of it is escaping me at the moment)
One of his famous rantings was "Burn down every Jews business". Not exactly a Christian sentiment IMHO.

Where the Catholic Church had been a party to several "Jewish Cleansings" or inquisitions...this one belonged solely to Hitler and the Lutheran Church. Hitler used a lot of religious rhetoric in his early years of his rise to power. Before he was incarcerated and especially after.

There IS a Biblical definition of a Christian.

Here it is:

if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

Do you believe Hitler had the Spirit of Christ?

I'm sure he thought he did.

The monster never looks in the mirror and sees a monster.

Here's the bigger question. Where were the spiritual leaders of Germany on this? Mostly backing him up, all the way.

Uh, guy, the one thing German Catholics and Lutherans agreed upon was how much they hated the Jews.

There were just as many Catholic Nazis as Lutheran Nazis. The Nazi party got its start in Bavaria, which is the Catholic part of Germany.

There are few real Christian's. Hitler wasnt one of them, and like I said, he worshipped pagan gods and was deep into the occult. He was in no way Christian.

Was Stalin a Christian? He murdered many times more, and his own people.

Do you ever wonder why the left obsesses over Hitler, but never criticizes Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Che, etc

None of them ever engaged in a systematic extermination of a people, that's why.

Also, the notion that Stalin murdered more people than Hitler is just laughable.

The population of the USSR went UP under Stalin's rule, not down. The only time it declined was during WWII, when they were losing millions of people to Hitler's attempts to exterminate them.

There wasn't much of a Catholic Church in Germany...it was small...most of the Catholic church assets had been confiscated hundreds of years previously by the State. (Just like the English did) And then there's the whole Luther becoming heralded and the Lutheran church became predominant in the area.

anti-Semitic feelings were rampant in Europe for several reasons. Lack of centralized banking being a major part. The banking industry was basically pawn shops run by Jews (who didn't go to church on Sundays with everyone else) and absolutely refused to have dinner parties or restaurant patronage with others due to their insisting on pork products in many dishes. So in their minds... anti-Semitic dialogue was completely acceptable. (Kinda like today's discussions about elite rich)

Hitler created a club for all the "good looking" and popular children giving them clothing to wear and providing them something akin to "boy scouts" and " Girl Scouts" except with some marching and clothing articles that signified their membership. They got to target shoot and fishing and all kinds of stuff that kids had no formalized training in that was extremely fun. (Intermural sports were first Hitler's)

All of this was Funded by yet another Lutheran. (I'm trying to remember his name...had an O in it)

At any rate the religious rhetoric shifted into gratitude to Adolf for his generosity and then became propaganda that worshipped him instead of God. But it sounded so close to something that might be said in church that no one minded when the children marched with guns chanting these slogans or thought that they misheard what was said.

And this is how the Hitler Youth program helped him take over a nation that was financially weak from the harsh reparations they were still paying from the first World War.

Guy, you really don't know what you are talking about. Fully a third of Germans were Catholic in 1930. Add in 15 million Austrians and Sudetan Germans after the annexations, it it got a lot bigger.

Not really. The main reason for anti-Semitism is that Jews killed the Christian God-man. Period. Full stop.

Okay. Nothing to do with religion.

Again, not really.

The real problem with Hitler was a lot of people in power in the Military, politics and industry through he was a useful tool. Kind of like how a lot of people who damned well should have known better still supported Trump to the bitter end.

Okay....no sense in discussing this with someone living in a fantasy...
