Hey look! Lib is lying againHey, look. Conservatives hate gerrymandering today. They loved it yesterday, will hate it tomorrow, and will love it day after tomorrow.
Well, that's a shame.
Oh, this doesn't look good. It doesn't look good at all.![]()

After weeks of buildup and a missed self-imposed Jan. 30 deadline, Virginia Democrats on Thursday evening finally released their long-awaited revised congressional map, proposing an aggressive 10–1 configuration that would tilt 10 of the state’s 11 U.S. House districts toward their party.

The proposed congressional map leaves several of Virginia’s largest districts visually intact while concentrating most of its changes in Northern and central Virginia.
The new plan preserves the broad outlines of some existing districts but redistributes how the population is grouped across much of the state.
Good Lord, it looks like my new district (if passed) will be called the 11th.....I'm about where the number 11 is on the map.
They took what looks like parts of the dem transplant dominated NOtVA counties of Prince William and Fairfax Counties and joined them with the real Virginia counties of Fauquier, Warren, Rappahannock, and Shenandoah.
If this passes Virginia and the country is in big trouble.
BTW....It's called 10-1 because that is what the dems expect to happen....10 dem seats to one gop seat in congress for Virginia.
Where in Texas is Washington DC and it’s gazillion dollars it steals from the rest of the country in taxes that ultimately feed the region?Remember Trump and Texas, y'all started this redistricing going into the 2026 mid-terms for power in the House of Represenatives.
Don't know if VA will succeed in it's redistricting efforts, or not.
Remember though this is a reaction, not an initiative.
EDIT: I belive under Congress's authority (Article 1, Section 4, US Constitution) they could mandate how districts are drawn based on population density, governmental boundaries (city, county), and natual barriers by a non-political entity based on science and loading theory and not political gain. Then let the districts fall where they may.

LOLLOLLLLL.Folks are fleeing blue states for a better life.
All of those red counties. What suckers.LOLLOLLLLL.
I will NEVER sell my abode in the PNW.
Life is truly beautiful on the golf course in Western Washington.
Well, Jan and Feb suck weather wise, but you aren't getting me to move to West Virginia, South Dakota or Wyoming.
