Cow's milk is ******* disgusting.

Funny how meat eaters and cow milk drinkers say soy is like estrogen when they are drinking a cow's hormonal fluids that contains actual estrogen
Like human milk is not ?

Why are you always asking questions OP?

Just curious!

Why?

Funny is that people scared of soy ignore the fact that the most populated part of our planet is where people eat the most soy every day.

13 …. Normal food
What’s normal food ? In the united states, fast foods have become the norm. If that’s the case, a vegetarian diet with natural ingredients is a whole lot more “ normal “ and preferable than the foods filled with additives.

While I acknowledge that vegans potentially can be perfectly healthy, anecdotally most I’ve known are too thin, pale, with spaghetti-arms and get sick way too often

I don’t know enough vegans to agree or disagree. But it's a real limited diet as is the keto diet which goes the other extreme. A friend on his high protein diet was advised to eat MORE by a doctor to keep his body from “dissolving” his muscle tissue. It seems strange as humans in general are omnivores. We eat way too much read meat……so moderation Imo, is important. But, if anyone wants to eliminate something from their diet, eliminate prosses foods with unhealthy additives.

what do you like?
Speaking to a friend today, their friend upgraded from vegan to vegetarian just recently. Apparently not doing so well on the ole vegan diet. So they moved from bronze to silver!!

It’s really hard to eat healthy and omit an important part of your diet, namely B vitamins and protein . “ Upgrading “ to vegetarian helps but you have to really, really careful about not eating processed foods devoid of nutrients which make it even harder to eat well. Every time you eliminate healthy foods in any category, you make it harder to eat healthy overall.

Exactly….but their products would spoil on the shelves, and taste worse and kill their profits. We’re a country that supports capitalism even if it kills us. Sad state of affairs.
YOU are absolutely right. It is going to be hard but is life and a healthy one for you and your kids more important that Red Dye 40, atrazine, apeel, and so many additives labeled GRAS...generally recognized as safe. The food companies support the FDA . The FDA is nothing but owned by food companies. I think many people WILL Dump these toxic food....provided they have the information...now THAT i see as the problem. I won't buy doritos any more because of the additives that addict you to that snack food. I WILL NOT be owned by them. oh yes, i'm still cutting out the bad stuff.... this this summer i've made a dent in the deli part of my budget and their's too hopefully. NO MORE nitrates, nitrites, etc. It will be sometimes hard...do one at a time...educate yourself and then start eliminating. and by the way...aspartame is deadly.

Exactly. It took a long time just to force the food industry to accurately label their foods. From there, it’s up to consumers to use their buying power to force makers to provide good nutrition. The hardest part ? Educate consumers.

Keto is unsustainable without regular check ups and blood work. It it doesn’t work for you…..
Even Keto sells and recommends taking supplements to make up for nutrients you miss from fruits and vegetables.

I know this is an old thread, but I just have to say.... it's funny to me how the poll was worded.

"Normal food."

There's a lot I could say about that... but I'm not sure I want to invite the inevitable onslaught.

According to this report from Harvard med , the keto diet is advertised as a weight loss diet when it’s really “a medical diet with serious risks”
