Over the last week, gas prices increased by nearly 12 cents per gallon, De Haan said in his Fuel Insights newsletter Monday, noting that the national average is up 65.1 cents per gallon compared with a month ago and 85 cents compared with a year ago.
De Haan expects gas to reach $4.20 to $4.35 per gallon in the coming days.

Back then I said it was because of Covid, and I didn’t blame Biden, but I also didn’t credit Biden with his huge economic growth after Covid because he did nothing to spur it on, it would have happened no matter what.
Your point of view sounds reasonable. I think its important to remind the morons on here what this stupid war is doing to them specifically. Back in covid there was nothing that could be done. We already were producing record oil and we werent causing an oil shortage. We had to wait for OPEC to increase production which it did by summer of 2023 as prices came down to normal. We are now causing this to happen. This is all self inflicted.
