They have always been notoriously slow. I don’t see anyone in much of a hurry at the DMV, for example, despite the line. Sure, if we add even more slow workers, people will get service quicker, but we could also get the current workers to speed up. Again, that is how it works in the real world. If you are too slow, your boss will likely ask you to speed up, not hire another slow worker. That would be kind of, well, stupid.

We were down there for four hours because they had roughly 100 people waiting in line and only three employees to process paperwork.

Thats not really related to the thread. But.there is a place for tariffs when used strategically. For example where animal husbandry means that domestic standards of animal care are not kept.
Or food is adulterated by illegal chemicals.

As far as I am aware the doge gang do not produce any evidence to back up their claims.
Its doubtful that any of their claims would stand up to scrutiny.
But I dont think that maga cares. They just want to break things.
