USPS signs agreement with DOGE after moving to cut 10,000 workers: 'Broken business model'

Everyone calls them federal workers. You don't, of course you dont. That is why you are wrong again.

The government pays you, you are a government worker

Your boss is appointed by politicians, you are a government worker.

Your healthcare is a government program, that makes you a government employee.

The building you work out of is a government building, all this shows that you are a government employee.

If you wish to explain how the post office is not a government job, go ahead

The postal master general is appointed by politicians. That is your boss.

Now you have Medicare, as a postal workers you have a government health plan.

The government gave $50 billion to the post office in 2022 and now requires retirees to enroll in another government health care program, only available to government employees.

In every way, postal worker are federal employees

Businessman? Appointed by Congress and the president of the USA

In 1997 the Post Office was offered the patent to email from its creator for $10 million. Let that sink in how stupid the Post Office General was. They could have charged for every email sent. Fuck em all

the PMG cant just say yea lets do it.....it has to go through few other places first maybe in 2 years he can say ok lets do it,if they give him permission...

U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy informed members of Congress on Thursday he has signed an agreement with the General Services Administration and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to right-size the Postal Service budget.

The Postal Service moved in January to cut 10,000 jobs cuts through an early retirement offer to eligible workers.

In a letter to Congress, DeJoy lamented that the Postal Service has a "broken business model that was not financially sustainable without critically necessary and core change."

WOW! How is it even possible for the post office to lose 200 billion (with a B) dollars?

What, are they including complementary hundred-dollar bills with every delivery?

Small wonder, the hubs look like the UN came by had an explosive bowel movement of workers.

The US Post Office ISN'T supposed to "follow a business model". It's supposed to deliver the mail to everyone living in the USA. It's in the Constitution.

It didn't even make it to the Postal Boards the PMG turned down the offer himself. Do you know how much revenue he turned down doing that?
that shit was started before i started working there....it started in the 1970's with E-COM...

For a "Paperless 21st Century Society", we're killing a lot of trees to communicate.
