Iran has been attacking the U.S. for more than 45 years. previous presidents - including Trump 45 - have taken the approach that it is better to allow relatively small attacks than to fight back and it become a larger war than Iran has been fighting against us.

With them being so close to a nuclear weapon, and with the Mullahs showing no sign of abandoning their desire to bring about the end times, we made the wise decision to fight back. Fighting back does not mean that we were not attacked. We fight back because we were under attack.
