Dumbass, 9% inflation that means on $100, 9$ was added that year on everything. Then inflation rate started going down, but added to the $109 the following year, so another $6 added. That meant $115 dollars the year after that, and even when it got down to 4% that is still 4% on $115 dollars. I have tried to awaken you to the dangers of Communism, as i spent time near the Berlin Wall, during the Cold War. Never once did i see a free person from West Germany face heavy machine gun fire and raging dogs to go into the east, but saw plenty of time those poor souls in East Germany trying to find their freedom.
