U.S. President Donald Trump's military deportation flight to Guatemala on Monday likely cost at least $4,675 per migrant, according to data provided by U.S. and Guatemalan officials.
That is more than five times the $853 cost of a one-way first class ticket on American Airlines from El Paso, Texas, the departure point for the flight, according to a review of publicly available airfares.
It is also significantly higher than the cost of a commercial charter flight by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Will this be reviewed by the new unconstitutional DOGE dept.?

What's the extra costs for the reporters and Dr. Phil?

The tax payers want to know.

Just think of everything we spend on them here. Schooling, health care, services. Etc.

Oh right, you aren't a taxpayer.

Each illegal presence averages about $60,000 annually. So it's a fair trade.

However you do bring up a valid point. I am assuming that the bulk of the cost is fuel?
Also there is a liability factor.

The money being spent is a direct reinvestment into the military.
Since part of the cost is routine maintenance and repair.

Nevertheless you do have a legitimate gripe.

So the OP FEELS that commercial airlines have empty airplanes and pilots in waiting to fly these criminals home.
That makes sense. 🤪

Anything goes for the NARRATIVE du jour.

They probably don't trust the privateers to follow through on the flight path. Get a liberal pilot....he could just decide to make an emergency landing somewhere inside the United States and let everyone go.

So only now do you suddenly care about wasteful spending. Maybe you should do the math on how much each flight of illegals is saving per month, per person. I would be willing to bet that the cost of that flight is recouped in very short order.

There is that of course.... But aside from the fuel consumption the payment per illegal which is probably inflated for the narrative..... Goes directly back into the military. All military airplanes are on an hourly maintenance schedule. The cost per person being transported includes the cost of routine repair and maintenance. This is actually a good investment in military hardware. Also if something happened in flight that caused loss of life nobody can sue the military.... They can however sue a private airline.

We will recoup the money from what we’re not going to send to Ukraine.

Keeping refugee claimants in Trump's "for profit" prison camps on the Southern Border cost the taxpayers $700 per day, per prisoner. That's $2800 per day to keep a family of 4 in filthy squalid conditions, and feed them garbage. $84,000 per month. For profit prison companies were huge donors to Trump's inauguration fund.

Over $100,000 to fly 86 migrants to Colombia.

The American taxpayers need to be made aware of the outrageous costs of Trump's abuse of migrants, to THEIR tax bills. Republicans keep telling them how much it costs to let migrants stay. It costs even MORE to force them to go.

I agree. We should ship them to Canada. Maybe particularly to your house.

At some point the price will go down when we figure out how to stack them up like cordwood in those planes.
