US Military Flights Cost As Much As Five Times More Than First Class Commercial Flights For Deportees

Keeping refugee claimants in Trump's "for profit" prison camps on the Southern Border cost the taxpayers $700 per day, per prisoner. That's $2800 per day to keep a family of 4 in filthy squalid conditions, and feed them garbage. $84,000 per month. For profit prison companies were huge donors to Trump's inauguration fund.

Over $100,000 to fly 86 migrants to Colombia.

The American taxpayers need to be made aware of the outrageous costs of Trump's abuse of migrants, to THEIR tax bills. Republicans keep telling them how much it costs to let migrants stay. It costs even MORE to force them to go.

86 x 60,000 (cost per illegal immigrant present) =$5,160,000. So for a mere $100k we get back &5,060,000? I'll take it!

Truth is you already knew all of these numbers but are choosing to highlight only the ones that serve your narrative. Which is a bit confusing since you're not even on American citizen.
Hey we really should just go north and take Canada.

At some point the price will go down when we figure out how to stack them up like cordwood in those planes.

They're bitching about nothing. The money is being reinvested directly into the military.
The algebraic sum of cost it's no doubt much lower than what they're bitching about.

In any case should anything bad happen to any of the immigrants on the way out and the way back the immigration advocacy groups can sue private airlinees but they cannot sue the military.

So only now do you suddenly care about wasteful spending. Maybe you should do the math on how much each flight of illegals is saving per month, per person. I would be willing to bet that the cost of that flight is recouped in very short order.

Skews could not care less about spending -
Skews is just a lunatic fringe malcontent

You're quoting the number used by the Centre for Immigration Studies????

In January of 2024, the Republican House Budget Committee tabled a report prepared by ultra right wing Centre For Immigration Studies, which claims every adult illegal immigrant costs the US economy $68,000. There is no evidence whatsoever that these numbers are accurate, and most are based on overinflating the amount of access to welfare and entitlement programs and medical care by immigrants.

  • Overall, we rate CIS a questionable source based on publishing misleading information (propaganda) regarding immigration and ties either directly or indirectly to the John Tanton Network, a known White Nationalist.

These are the lies promoted by Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

In response to Trump's claim that undocumented migrants cost the US economy $200 billion per year:

"It sounds extraordinarily high to me," said Meg Wiehe, deputy director at the nonpartisan Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP).

"Frankly absurd," David Dyssegaard Kallick, the deputy director of the nonpartisan Fiscal Policy Institute, told NBC News.

Conservative groups like the Heritage Foundation have sought to put a price tag on illegal immigration amid lobbying efforts against legalization, but none have pegged it as high as Trump's estimate.

Rector said his 2013 estimate pegged the cost of undocumented immigrants — the cost of services received minus their tax contributions — was about $54 billion a year.

A precise cost is nearly impossible to ascertain, many experts said. That's in part because undocumented immigrants operate within the shadows, leaving their full fiscal contributions — and use of taxpayer-funded resources — at least somewhat unknown.

Republicans have been using withholding taxes paid by illegals to cover their deficits for years.

Most immigrants are working and contributing to taxes and GDP.

I've done the math. YOUR LOSING BIGLY.

You did absolutely nothing to refute the numbers but quote a bunch of political bullshit.

It's cheaper to ship them out then it is to keep them. And while you're attacking sources what makes your sources any better?

You're not very good at this. The money being invested back into the military works back algebraically against the sum of the total cost.

Now sit down before you hurt yourself.

So the OP FEELS that commercial airlines have empty airplanes and pilots in waiting to fly these criminals home.
That makes sense. 🤪

Anything goes for the NARRATIVE du jour.

The OP does all of his thinking with the wrong head. I would expect that the insurance companies who back the airlines would probably ban them from accepting that kind of a transportation contract.

U.S. President Donald Trump's military deportation flight to Guatemala on Monday likely cost at least $4,675 per migrant, according to data provided by U.S. and Guatemalan officials.
That is more than five times the $853 cost of a one-way first class ticket on American Airlines from El Paso, Texas, the departure point for the flight, according to a review of publicly available airfares.
It is also significantly higher than the cost of a commercial charter flight by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Will this be reviewed by the new unconstitutional DOGE dept.?

What's the extra costs for the reporters and Dr. Phil?

The tax payers want to know.
LOL. I love to see your panties in a wad because the border isn't open anymore.

the tax payers also want the bad guys out of here jimmy....i know you feel sorry for them....
Its still a fair question

Trump may have a good answer, but i doesent hurt to ask

When a left wing communist cult **** cries about SPENDING, you know they are full of shit.

It's true, Biden's failures come at a real cost to the nation.

Weren't these mostly convicted criminals? If so...would an airline be willing to fly them at all?
