LolLolLolThe Sheriff is not gonna do any such thing, It’s not their job.
Ok, if you insist then the drive could be all the way to the local ATF office, I'm sure a local municipality could handle it, they could tack a couple bucks on to make the phone call.
You don’t understand how it works do you?
I do. In retail the seller makes a call, gets the OK and sells the gun. It takes pretty much no time at all. In a private sale it would probably take a little more time, not much. Probably less than signing over a car.
On average it takes around 4 minutes To run a background check just in my store, which is entirely too long it should take seconds... tops.
There is no reason to run background checks on private sales, federal governments just gonna **** it up. Especially in rural American where are you going to go? Little gun shops like mine are going to refuse to run background checks on private sales because of liability.
Apparently not running background checks tends to get people murdered, so I don't give a **** if you're impatient. Plus by far most Americans think all gun purchases should require one. Don't worry, you've still got plenty of time to get used to the idea.
Guess what? I don’t have to or want to run background checks on other peoples purchases… Fact
Everyone that purchases a firearm in my store Has to go through a background check... Fact
And the FBI is absolutely incompetent because it takes them on average four minutes to run a ******* background check, it should be like a visa card, instantaneous... Fact
