Sun spot activity or sun irridance is actually currently slightly lower then it used to be, meaning that if the sun were the only factor the earth should be cooling.

If I understood my 1st year biology lectures, plants need CO2 in order to complete the process of photosynthesis. According to the same worshipers of GW, plants are good and should be preserved at all costs. How exactly do they reconcile that schism? Decreasing CO2 emissions would be harmful to plants.

Read this and learn something. There is widespread fraud occuring at GISS. Of course as an apologist you are not allowed to really look at real evidence, only what your high priests tell you to look at, but real scientists MUST look at real uncorrupted data. Something the warmists are loathe to do for some reason.

In no other branch of science is it heresy to ask questions. Only in climatology is the dogma so stringent that NO questions may be asked. If you were a thinking person you would be asking yourself some serious questions like "why does the climatology community actively suppress papers that don't conform to the "consensus view". why does the climatology community actively violate FOIA laws by not releasing their raw data. Why does the climatology community not follow the most fundamental axiom of science and release the findings so that others may replicate the results for themselves.

In all other branches of science that is MANDATORY. Only in climatology do they hide what they find.....why is that?

It showed, just as it had last week, that the temperature in 2003 was much higher than 1939 and 1941, which as we now know from the Iceland Met Office is not true. However something else looked wrong, that I could not put my finger on.

Fortunately, however, I had kept a printout of last week’s dataset and eventually I realised something else had changed. Effectively the scale had been shifted down, so that every singly year became about a degree cooler.

One can ponder on the reasons for this change, but the consequence is abundantly clear – GISS temperatures for recent years, including 2003, now match the actual temperatures recorded by the Iceland Met Office. (Last week we discovered that GISS/GHCN had adjusted temperatures upwards by about a degree since 1970 – for full story see here). However, as the shape of the graph has not altered, this means that years prior to 1970 are shown as much cooler than they really were."

So if a 100PPM increase raises temperature .5 degrees a 150PPM increase should raise temperature:

a. .75
b. Math sucks
c. Too many variables to show how this works in a lab setting
