U.S. Troops Have Been Secretly Training Taiwan's Military...I am sure CHINA is SO SCARED!

Many of you have written about the possible lack of support if Taiwan was ever invaded, but what is never mentioned is the fact Australia, South Korea and Japan will get involved and possibly India seeing the invasion of Taiwan would be a direct threat to those nations…

Even if the US stays out, that will be a fustercluck of huge proportions for China if they did.

Expect most of Europe to immediately embargo all goods to and from China. The militaries of multiple countries, including the UK, French, Japan, Australia, and most likely a lot of the Commonwealth to move in to one degree or another. India also, as well as Vietnam, the Philippines, and I could think of 3 or 4 that are very likely to also take place (South Korea foremost among them). And that is all without the US doing anything.

Some people are rather stupid, in thinking that the US rules the world. They do not, and even if the US remains neutral, expect them to do like what they did with the UK during their little spat with Argentina 40 years ago.

And no matter what, even if they somehow won, China would have an economy in complete shambles. They are more dependent on the raw materials and money they get from trade than the world is on their cheep goods. And they would very quickly learn how replaceable they are as a lot of the work they now do returns to other countries.

They aren't going to fight because they like Chinese.

Actually, they do not. They have been enemies for centuries, and only have had an uneasy alliance off and on for the last century. And hell, even then it only lasted a little over a decade. By 1969 they were actually in a shooting war with each other!

They only work together to a degree because China will pay money for things they sell. And after decades of China outright stealing Soviet-Russian equipment, their patience is just about gone.

"Like China" indeed. China does indeed "like Russia". But the admiration is not returned quite the same way. And in the last 2 years, the favorable impression of China in Russia has fallen.

So let look at reality and China should be more worried about if Japan come into the picture with Australia, South Korea and India because even though China has the warm bodies those four nations along with U.S. assistance would clearly hurt China badly.
Japan, South Korea, Australia have no nukes. They can't do anything against nuclear states.

Really? What were they saying after the Russian annexation of Crimea and Chinese violation of Hong Kong reintegration terms?

Bullshit.

Another things China lacks, the mid-air refueling capabilities that the USSR-Russia and US have.

Let's see, distance from the Chinese coast to California is just over 11,000 km. Range of the Bear bomber is 15,000 km.

See the problem yet? So great, they are going to fly 50 Bear bombers to attack the US. All the way there undetected.
They are not going to bomb California. First of all they are going to launch stealth cruise missiles, at Minutemen siloes in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming (to prevent Launch Under Attack) and some other targets. In this scenario they are coming from North via holes in NWS. And yes, they can buy (or borrow) tankers and fighters as well.

It's not about the admiration. It's about the common enemy. And Biden's administration do almost everything to demonstrate agressive weakness. And it's a dangerous game, you know.

The last war the United States government is going to fight is on its own soil
Bad news for them they've lost Every war after ww2

Yes, they do.

As part of our defense treaties with both South Korea and Japan. Which state that an attack on either of them will result in a reciprocal strike on the offending nation by the US. In other words, nuke South Korea or Japan, the US will nuke you back for them.

And as a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, Australia has the same agreement in place with the UK. Nuke one of them, the UK will respond in kind.

Right. And every country is just going to give China whatever they want. Knowing that the US would respond to such active assistance as a declaration of war by that other country as well.

You really are unable to actually think through such complex things, are you? I laugh as almost all of your arguments are ill thought out, and simplistic.

Because that theory worked so well when Russia annexed sovereign territory, right?

China's economic position is far superior to Russia and the west did nothing against Russia's actions. They will do nothing against China.

IF China decides to annex Taiwan they will do so. No one will do anything about it, the west will condemn the actions with strong language, say how wrong it is, promptly forget Taiwan even existed and continue to buy China's cheap shit.

Where are these stealth cruise missiles you keep talking about? What is their maximum range and what size warhead?

Did you forget about our Trident ballistic missile submarines?

Buy or borrow tankers? Who the heck from?

There are Uyghur countercamps in China, and no one cares, including the United States. If I am't mistaken, the United States still hasn't recognized Taiwan.

"China stunned American intelligence and military officials, tested a hypersonic missile capable of carrying a nuclear charge, which passed through a low orbit in space, making a circle around the globe before hitting the target"
RAND corpopation panicked:
"China may have just achieved its own satellite moment against the US military. It's hard to overstate how much this cosmic opportunity will change the game. The US missile defense system may be nullified or even obsolete!!"

The game was made a long time ago, when China began to produce more doctors of science annually than Americans, and not in areas about gender diversity
