U.S. House passes "Protect Life Act"

No they weren't elected to do any such thing. They were elected to STOP obama from expanding government beyond the next ten generations to pay the debt. They are doing that admirably too.

Thank you so much. I'm doing cyber cartwheels thru the house.

:eusa_angel:

You are both wrong, guys, and no amount of cartwheels will correct that.

The Tea Party and GOP were elected to get jobs going. They, along with the Dems, failed miserably. That is what folks will vote on, among other items, one of which, the debt, is going to bite the Tea Party in the ass. Hard.

Actually you ARE wrong. Those that represent the "tea party" where elected to stop Obama from further BIG government spending that our nation can not afford. Obama's plan was to allow Federal Government tax dollars to pay for short term job programs that will leave us back where we started only about 2 years down the road. Then he will look to spend more money on more short term "gimmicks", which is precisely why the American Jobs Act has failed to pass in the SENATE. I guess some Democrats in the Senate find something wrong with seeing the Federal Government as being "financially efficient and SO fiscally responsible" (much the same as the tea party movement).

Absolute nonsense, shakls. Changing the goal posts now will not help the destruction of the Tea Party movement through this winter into the primary season. Your major candidates have fallen apart, mainstream GOP candidates distance themselves (watch Romney carefully stepping away a bit at a time), the % of Tea Party popularity continues to plummet with the American voter.

The GOP does not want the TP millstone around its neck and will throw it overboard.

The GOP, the TP, the Dems, and the President have all failed on jobs, and all will be punished for it.

Just because you never understood what the goal posts were does not mean they changed.

You are right jake the GOP does not like the tea party, just like the democrats don't like the TEA party. The GOP has moved from it political position to become more like the democrats. and the democrats have move to become liberals. Both are enemies to the Constitution. Thats why the TEA party was sent to D.C. To bring the government back to the control of the governed

Yes, the GOP and the Tea Party ran on jobs and have done nothing about them.

The Tea Party, whatever it is, does not have the numbers to succeed, and maybe 1 of 6 voting Americans support it. It has been a flash in the pan, and will not be heard from after Nov 2012.

And you confirm what I said.

Can you name one canidate from the Gop or the tea party who's campiagn platform was based on job creation? From the 2010 election cycle on the national level.

Can you name one who did not? You guys merely demonstrate the growing weakness of the movement.

You keep ranting this notion that what the "tea party" was formed to do, and went to Congress for, was solely on the basis of jobs. You honestly believe the whole reason behind all the rallies across the country and in Washington DC on August 28, 2010 was just about jobs? It's no wonder you are so completely naive and confused at this point. You have either completely slept through it, been drinking too much of that MSNBC Kool-aid, or are stuck within your own "tunnel vision" capacity of what you THINK the Tea Party in Washington actually represents. The Tea Party doesn't share in your limited narrow vision.

Shakles, fail for you.

The major campaigning of the Tea Party candidates, as was the rest of the GOP, was jobs.

You can't get away from that. You will not be allowed to get away with rewriting history; won't happen.

No it wasn't.

I am in the Tea Party, you are not.

Now, let's see if you ask me to prove a negative.

Si Modo, the GOP and Tea Party campaigned on jobs and have failed in Congress, right along with the Dems.

The American people understand this, even if you don't

Well, as I said, you are wrong. I am in the Tea Party; you are not.

Let's see if you can figure out what to do next. :eusa_whistle:

Actually, it was tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, because the tea baggers mistakenly believed that the wealthy and corporations would start creating jobs if they got money.

Sadly........no jobs, just more bullshit from the right on social engineering.

Right wing progressive social engineering (give more to the rich, they will make jobs) has its pitfalls, also.

Let me help everyone out here.

Abortion Laws = big government.

There, I solved your stupid dillema.

Giving the government control over a woman's uterus is about as big as it gets.

So you all know, The Soviet Union under Stalin had this particular gem of a law. (Basically what every conservative wants supposedly)
On June 27, 1936 the Central Executive Committee of the USSR issued a decree that prohibited abortions, while increasing financial help to mothers, families with multiple children, expanding the availability of obstetrical services and childcare facilities, more strictly enforcing child support obligations, and providing for minor changes in the divorce law.[4] Abortion was allowed only in exceptional cases, such as a severe threat to a woman’s life or health, or upon indication of debilitating hereditary diseases of the parents.
