The case was dismissed because Jack Smith was illegally appointed, meaning he could not even indict said ham sandwich. Because of his acts, Trump was never prosecuted. He was impeached but found not guilty. Doesn't that resolve your conundrum?

That's not how we elect the President, dumbass! In 2016, Hillary didn't get 50% either. Joe Biden would not have 50% except for fraud and mail-in ballots in 2020 because of COVID. In 2024, Trump missed by .2% and won the popular vote.
