Earlier this month, Apple did the bidding of the Chinese government to crush domestic protests against the Communist Party there. Apple did this by disabling its permanent AirDrop feature in China and so far, only in China. It's the only country in which it's disabled. Why did Apple disable that feature in China? Well, because that feature, permanent AirDrop, allows iPhone users to communicate directly with one another without using the internet or cellular networks — both of which in a totalitarian state like China, are controlled by the government and that means that without permanent AirDrop, it's effectively impossible for freedom-minded citizens to organize with one another. They're powerless....

Apple is the most valuable company in the world. It's got a current market cap of trillions of dollars.... Twitter must be silenced because it allows Americans to exercise their birthright, which is free speech, a prerequisite for a free society and a democracy, but TikTok must be protected because the Chinese government uses TikTok as a tool of espionage. That is Apple's position. At this point, the real question is, will Apple be allowed to strangle Twitter, which it could, because it has monopoly power?

But no one cares because all they want is to be seen with their stylish, expensive apple products proudly displaying the apple logo so they get a sense of feeling good about have a trendy and progressive product to be seen using. That's why everyone just says they have a "smartphone" or a "tablet" or a "laptop" regardless of who makes the prodduct, but apple users always say they have a MacBook, iPad or a iphone because they want to feel elitist.

When Britain declined by the end of the19th Century a vacuum occurred. The United States was the richest power in the world but was reluctant to be the military juggernaut. Britian struggled and we had two World Wars. And we are both primarily English speaking. Now the U.S. is in decline and China the new rising power. We screwed ourselves over by opening them up and giving them most favored nation status along with trade deals and the wholesale theft and selling of our technologies. They do not speak the same language and when they rule people will be lamenting the destruction of the Christian white male with all of this flaws.
