He added to the reasons caused by the actions under Bush, Obama and Trump. (one can argue triggered by actions of Clinton and even Reagan)

Inflation is caused by The Federal Reserve (that is basically their job), debt, and to an extent more people.

Trump begged for more and more inflationary pumping by the Fed as did Obama. Both ran on increasing the debt. The pumping did slow down under Biden which is why inflation decreased but you still had the debt factor.
