Trump has had countless bad weeks, including an impeachment and an impeachment trial in the Senate, but he may have set a record for foulness this past week. It pretty much seems like he can't do anything right.

In an interview this past week, Trump said that the coronavirus was "fading away", echoing comments he made earlier this year -- before US deaths rose past 120,000. He said that the pandemic would eventually disappear "like a miracle".

Covid-19 cases are spiking. The evidence indicates that the virus is not only still a public health threat in the US, but its rate of spread is increasing once again. The Post reports, "As coronavirus cases surge in the U.S. South and West, health experts in countries with falling case numbers are watching with a growing sense of alarm and disbelief, with many wondering why virus-stricken U.S. states continue to reopen and why the advice of scientists is often ignored."

Despite being able to appoint two conservative judges to the Supreme Court, Trump suffered two defeats at the hands of SCOTUS. First, the court discarded the Trump administration's contention that a 1964 civil rights law did not provide workplace discrimination protections to gay and transgender employees.

Then, it invalidated the White House's attempt to rescind an Obama-era program giving temporary normalized immigration status to undocumented migrants who entered the US as children.

A federal judge denied the Trump's attempt to block the upcoming publication of the book by former national security adviser John Bolton.

Several polls from various sources have come out to show Biden with sizable leads in the upcoming election. One of them is Fox News. "Joe Biden has expanded his lead over President Trump to 12 points in the latest Fox News poll, and Trump is fuming at what's normally his favorite network." Trump wanted to sue CNN because he didn't like the poll the network used. Of course, that is just another empty threat. Trump averages one of those nearly everyday.

Trump flew to Oklahoma today amid mounting questions about the firing of Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney in Manhattan, whose office had probed some of the President’s closest allies, imprisoning Michael Cohen, his former personal lawyer, and investigating Rudolph W. Giuliani, his current lawyer. As Trump left the White House for the trip to Tulsa, he said, “We have a very capable attorney general, so that’s really up to him. I’m not involved.”

Is there anyone on the planet who believes him?

Finally, Trump's stupidity could get people killed. As luck would have it, "Ahead of President Trump’s rally in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday night, his campaign acknowledged that six staff members who were working on the event had tested positive for the virus," the Times reported.

The vast majority of Trump's supporters will follow his lead and not wear mistakes. 19,000 screaming fans will be enclosed in BOK Center for hours. It will be the perfect breeding ground for a very contagious virus.

Then those folks will go home and spread the virus to their children, friends, grandma, and grandpa.

Like I said, it has been a tough week for Trump. The significance is, he brought every bit of it onto himself.

What's really sad is his supporters believe every word.

No, what's really sad is the delusion and anarchy that has overcome the Dem. party. Defund the police? WTF are you going to do when drug dealers set up shop on the steps of all our schools? Call Mr. Rogers? Don't wait till your house is burning until you realize these Dems. are the enemy. Get rid of them before your house gets robbed or burned. You'll never see a MAGA hat looting or burning.

What a surprise, COVID is Trump's fault again.

You Commies are melting down.

I get it, you did everything you could to stop his rally, and you failed. Of course you'll lie and the Democrat Media Complex will put out fraudulent video. But attendees will use their phones and again expose the little Goebbels as the lying fucks we all know them to be.

You have to give democrats their due. They tried everything they could to up the death count from the virus.
They tried as hard as they could to shut down the economy. They claimed no one could go back to work, everyone would die if they did.
No they have backed the rioting and looting. Because the democrats and their base know that the virus is smart enough to bypass them. But they were bent out of shape over a rally because once again the VIRUS.

You really have to feel at least a small bit of sadness for them. They see the writing on the wall and hoping no body else sees just how bad Biden and his cult of dementia are going to be buried.

We can add one more item to Trump's bad week. Trump's supporters grew a brain and stayed away.

Due to lack of interest The Hill reports, "Trump scrapped a planned address to supporters outside the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday as attendance appeared to fall short of expectations.

"The Trump campaign said in a statement the president and Vice President Pence would not give speeches at a separate stage outside the arena as originally planned."

Trump campaign officials had said prior to the event that demand far outstripped the capacity of the venue.

But on Saturday night, almost half of the BOK Center arena were empty, and the campaign was forced to cancel an outdoor rally, after the expected overflow crowd did not show up.

Trump scrapped a planned address to supporters outside the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday as attendance appeared to fall short of expectations.

The Trump campaign said in a statement Trump and Vice President Pence would not give speeches at a separate stage outside the arena as originally planned.

The campaign had touted the dual speeches from each leader as a special feature of the president's first campaign rally in months and a sign of the enthusiasm and turnout they were expecting in Tulsa. It didn't happen because there was only a sparse crowd in an overflow area outside.

The Trump campaign in a statement blamed the lighter than expected turnout on the media and protesters in the area, which, of course was not true.

If Trump campaign officials had been paying attention, they would know there is a pandemic and that, more than anything else, contributed to the extremely low turnout.

That and Trump's increasing unpopularity as illustrated in the polls.

WTF? Why aren't the fucking democrats bragging about Biden and the policies he wants to implement?
Because they all suck. I'm happy that the polls show Biden leading. That will make Trump work even harder.
Remember how 2016 ended up after Trump had no chance of winning?

Trump's bad week continues into the next one.

The Times reports, "President Trump on Saturday fired the federal prosecutor whose office put his former personal lawyer in prison and is investigating his current one, heightening criticism that the president was carrying out an extraordinary purge to rid his administration of officials whose independence could be a threat to his re-election campaign.

"Mr. Trump’s dismissal of the prosecutor, Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States attorney in Manhattan, whose office has pursued one case after another that have rankled Mr. Trump, led to political blowback and an unexpected result: By the end of the day, Mr. Berman’s handpicked deputy, not the administration’s favored replacement, was chosen to succeed him for now."

This is going to get nasty before it is over. What Trump did was within his powers. That doesn't mean it was smart.

What's really sad is his supporters believe every word.
I didn’t make my brother say this today. Unsolicited he said him and his son are not going to vote for trump this time. He has gone too far. Enough is enough.

Its not me or the radical right that’s going to decide this election. Its independents and moderates who are going to decide this. It’s people who usually stay home but are going to show up to end the circus show. Trump is clearly over his head and doesn’t have the temperament to serve. Just ask anyone who has ever worked with him.

A friend of mine has a family member who is a pastor. He was ashamed of what Trump said at the rally and is finally breaking away.
